The Doctor and his assistant are very kind and nice. We appreciate how they have taken care of our Doberman.

I've taken several animals to this vet. I have always found them very good. They have always treated my animals with kindness. They are gentle, tell me exactly what's going on, no mysteries, no talking around the questions I ask. Very honest. As for cost, much better cost than most other vets around. I had a 'psycho' cat for a while that didn't like anyone, but this vet made him feel comfortable and was able to examine him and give him his shots without a problem. I now have a dog and wouldn't think of taking her anywhere else.

I would highly recommend this vet (and have) to my friends and family.

I took my cat there for annual shots with horrible results. Admittedly, my cat is the super nervous type around vets and resisted even being held by the vet tech wearing rawhide gloves. We had just been discussing not giving my baby any shots since he's totally an indoor cat - when Dr Pommer pulled out this contraption of two long wooden poles with a canvas cradle at one end. He chased my terrified cat around the exam room with this devise and captured him in it. With my cat trapped and panting, he gave him the shots, then released him into the room. He and the staff then left the room with my poor baby hissing, screaming and panting. He wouldn't even let ME get near him. It took almost 45 minutes for me to coax him into his carrier and leave. Neither the vet nor the tech ever came back into the room. They looked in through a window a couple of times which escalated my baby's terror. Since this trauma, my cat has to be sedated for every vet visit - of course I now take him to a different vet, a more humane and compassionate vet! If this is how your pets are treated in your presence, how are your pets treated in the back room? Please beware.

Leon is one of the best Vets I have ever known. He has been taking care of our family and extended family pets since 1990. I live 45 miles away from his clinic now, but I still make the drive for my pups so they get the best care possible. To hear someone say he is a poor vet is outrageous! Obviously this is a outright lie. Aspen Animal will always be my vet of choice.

I have taken all of my (many) animals to Dr. Pommer since 1981. He has properly treated all of them, saved the lives of some of them, and has always conducted himself in the utmost professional manner. For anyone to suggest that this man mistreated any animal - ever - is, in my opinion, either an outright lie, or the addled misconception of a grief-stricken pet owner.

this vet killed my cat. he did the same surgery 5 times on my cat and it was the wrong surgery. his nurses even told us how badly he treated the cat behind closed doors on the operating tables. if you ever ever have an emergency with one of your pets, or even your friends animals, NEVER, EVER, go to this vet. it will be the biggest mistake you ever made in your life!!!! i can personally say that i HATE this vet, and i mean it with all my heart.
