I also DONT appreciate tht when w go to play the SAME people win!!! it sounds rigged to me... its definitely set up!!! Isped lot of money there with the hopes of winning and have been oing there for 5+ yrs... even before they "remodled" even though all thy did was take away the non=smoking room...
The Bingo Mine is located in a newer building and is much nicer and well lit than many of the other Bingo halls in the Denver area. They have a large parking area out front.
The hall offers both paper packets and electronic TED machines. They are fairly reasonably priced. They have a well stocked snack bar that also makes sandwiches and other meal-type goodies. Besides the regular Bingo they also sell "pickles" (pull cards) if you have a little extra money to get rid of.
There is a seperate non-smoking section which seems to stay fairly smoke-free. You still have to go into the smoking area to use the restrooms, buy your packets and get snacks. I do like that there is door to the outside from the non-smoking area so at the end of the night you can leave without having to go through the smoking area. I've noticed that even their smoking section doesn't seem as bad as many others. Perhaps they have a better ventilation system.
The proceeds on different Bingo sessions go to various groups in the community.
Overall a very positive Bingo experience.
PROS: Clean, Good Non-Smoking Section, Ample Parking, Good Snacks
CONS: A Little More Expensive
I know the owner of this establishment and he is a nice guy and it is all family owned and operated. Although it seems the same peple always come and the same people always win. I KNOW bingo is gambling and it is the luck of the draw but it gets boring because you can almost predict who will win. Plus everyone seems to play on the electronic cards and the beeping gets annoying. They do have a great snack bar and a clean facility though. They also do late night bingo which is nice!!!
