Dr. Feldman and his staff stayed open for me to bring in my dying bird after I had tried to get her into three vets who informed me that don't see SICK birds or stopped seeing birds altogether. My poor little bird was gasping for breath when I carried her in. Dr. Feldman kept her for the night and checked on her with real diligence. He called me in the morning and through out the day with her progress. He gave me the education and support I needed to take her home. The staff called me every day for two weeks to see how she was doing. She made it and is back to being her wonderful self! I would recommend Dr. Feldman any day! What a caring, knowledgeable and compassionate group of people!

Dr. Steve Feldman is a wonderful vet, and his staff is caring and kind. My dog even lets them clip his nails. This is a small practice and you get lots of personal attention (and treats!).

Dr. Feldman and his staff were so patient, kind and caring with our guinea pig! For such a little critter he's had a lot of health issues, and Dr. Feldman has been wonderful in determining the best care possible and is always compassionate to the fact that this very little guy is special to our family. He and his staff are always willing to squeeze in an emergency appointment when necessary and have kept Louie during the day for extra care and monitoring. I highly recommend Dr. Feldman!

I highly do NOT recommend Dr Feldman after my experience. He was the vet that pronounced my new puppy healthy to purchase in 2007. I continued to see Dr Feldman and liked him and placed my trust in him. This was a mistake. My puppy was sick when I purchased him but was told this was no big deal. My puppy had consistent stomach problems during that first year. Dr feldman kept on prescribing the same medication over and over. We had to go to the emergency vet numeroud times on saturdays and sundays. We naturallyw ere very worried and the cost was immense. Dr Feldman did not recommend trying hypoallergenic diet, he never did an x-ray. He continuously told us that puppies get sick and that our puppy would likely be fine once he tunred 1.5yo. He seemed to think that we were just overly anxious parents. We finallyw ent to a new vet who did recommend x-ray and diet change. Things got so bad for our puppy that we he was hospitlized. tests finally diagnosed his stomach problems (Inflamatory Bowel Disease). Unfortunately all this trauma seemed to magnify some neurological problems are puppy had since birth. Long story short, after many expensive tests, more hospital stays, inncredible stress and sadness for all of us, we lost our puppy last november. He was 1.5 years old. We never got a call or sympathy card from Dr Feldman, just defensiveness. We did though get a card in the mail from him recommending scheduling an annual appointment. This was after our much beloved puppy was dead. We feel that Dr Feldman failed us and our puppy. It was an incredibly horrible experience. I waited 4 months since our loss to write this so that it was not all grief based. I still feel Dr Feldman owed us more.

Pros: probably does well with normal healthy animals

Cons: too relaxed, not aggressive, did not listen to our concerns

This vet clinic could use a facelift, and I think I like that. They spend their resources on caring for the animals, not for a beautiful facade like others I have experienced. There are caring people working there and it's the only place I have found that Winnie doesn't shake at. In fact, she seems happy to go. Buster kisses Dr. feldman when he goes and what I love is Dr Feldman kisses him back!

I have never been so sweetly treated by a clinic before. I came in, forgetting my records from my out of state vet and they took care of everything. I didn't have to lift a finger. They called my vet in Atlanta, got my records and took the time to ask questions that I would have never thought of. Then when we went into the room with Dr. Feldman I noticed that for the first time ever my dog was comfortable at the vet. Normally he shakes and is hard to examine. They gave him a free nail trim and called me today to thank me for picking them for my new vet in denver. I am very impressed!

i have a friend who's a vet in Boulder and i asked her once who the best vet in denver was. she said Dr. Steve Feldman at Vet Care Animal Hospital. i scheduled an appt and went in after having visited 3 other vets within the last six months for my cat's asthma issues. i LOVED Dr. Feldman. he was wonderful! he was tremendously informative, outlined in writing all of our treatment options and the pros and cons for each, and was very kind and gentle. he was also very realistic about how effective things we could do would be. i am really sad now because we moved out of state and can't use him anymore, obviously. i know there's lot of vets in Denver but Dr. Feldman is the one i trust the most. one thing to be aware of though is that he is not the cheapest vet and "extended" office visits can be expensive.

Pros: very informative vet, friendly staff, generally wonderful experience

Cons: the outside appearance of the clinic needs work (but who cares?), a little pricey
