5 Stars: A great place for a great experience (by Cara C.)

I love this place for a number of reasons. Their food is great -most of which you eat with your fingers (bonus). The decor is excellent, making you feel like you may very well be in Morocco! I like the fact that you can sit on the floor on big pillows and eat dinner. Then if you're there at the right time, there are the belly dancers who put on a great show. A must for something different in Denver.

4 Stars: A fun, unique dining experience (by Julie C.)

Mataaz Fez is a true Moroccan restaurant--one sits on the floor, eats with his hands, and there is belly dancing. Prices are decent for a very large five course meal, including tea served with a flair at the end. Prices are about $20-$30 a person, but you get a ton of food. The restaurant is looking a little run down, but the unique atmosphere makes you forget that for the most part.

PROS: Delicious food, served in a unique atmosphere, huge portions
CONS: A little run down
