Big Dog is focused on exactly one thing: creative and delicious toasted sandwiches. They have a modest variety of choices for sides and salads but it is clearly all about the sandwich. They do it right and they do it the exact same way ever time. Delivery is available but it could take 45 minutes to an hour since they are so busy.
The sandwiches are freshly made, the ingredients are top notch, and the little brunette behind the counter gives you something to look at while they make your sandwich!! The prices re perfect for what you get. Did I mention that the food is great?!? Nice hidden gem! Plus, you can read the Onion if you sit down and eat it in the restaurant. Did I mention that cute brunette?
Pros: Great food and a hottie working the counter
Cons: the hottie is married....
I normally don't go for sandwiches, but Big Dog's are great! Today was my first time trying them. Besides running out of a couple of key ingredients and being late in delivering, I would highly recommend them! YUM! I need to take my husband there soon and compare them to Salvaggio's in Boulder (may be better than Salvaggo's as I have a preference toward hot sandwiches).
Pros: Sandwiches
Big Dog Deli is a great place to get a sandwich. It looks like a total dive, but that shouldn't matter. The food was wonderful and so are the prices. The only problem I had is that they do NOT have ketchup! (never heard of a place that didn't have ketchup!) But I got over it once I bit into my Collie sandwich. :)
Pros: inexpensiver, good parking , great food
Cons: limited seating, no ketchup-ever
Sister store to the famous Snarf's in Boulder, a great meatball and veggie sandwich. They most certainly do deliver, just not single sandwiches. If you wanna really good sandwich, check this place out.
If you're really hungry this is an average enough place to get an average sandwich. If you need it delivered, don't bother because they certainly won't. If you want to try a good deli with good service and fast delivery (in Broomfield) go up the street to Deli Zone (opposite King Soopers on 287)
Cons: poor delivery service, average sandwich
