I believe that this practice has out grown its helpful nature. When they were small and in the old building the staff was far more caring. I recently had a very serious infectious disease issue with my daughter, she has gone through 3 of 4 surgeries. Now we have been informed that she may even need additional surgeries. Prior to the first surgery, the hospital needed information concerning our insurance and a referral was needed to proceed with the necessary medical treatment. When I called and passed on the information to Hilltop, the clerical staff, (Kristen), was not at all helpful and then proceeded to raise her voice at me on the phone and stated that I did not need the insurance information and neither did the surgeon or hospital. I then spoke to her supervisor (Jennifer) and finally got the satisfaction and necessary information. The clerical staff is very short and curt. They were not at all helpful and then Hilltop sent me a certified letter FIRING me as a patient for "unacceptable behavior with their clerical staff". I would not have gone back after this issue anyway, but to be FIRED for protecting my child. I would go through this again in a second if thats what it takes to have my child cared. If I spoke "medical" maybe it would have been easier for them to understand what my daughters doctors and surgeons needed. Just a word of warning, be careful with the clerical staff or you too could be FIRED!!

We had to go in for his 18month old check up. We didn't have to wait a long time to get in, the check up went quickly and smoothly. When they gave my son his vaccination, he didn't even feel it! It was great. As a mom who can't stand to see her little boy hurt or crying it was a great experience for me too!
