I'm not against giving a store a second chance to get customer service and selection right. However, all of my experinces have ended in a disappointing way. One visit ended in the clerk telling me 20 minutes before the store closed they didn't have the musical My Fair Lady and asking, "Will there was anything else, or will you be leaving so we can close the store?"
When I insisted they had it, as it's a classic family movie and went to find it, he followed me and asked why I couldn't just take his word and leave. I found it and we rented it. I was not impressed with his customer service.
Today's experience was nothing short of frustrating. I called to see if they had the movie Wall Street and the 5th season of Criminal Minds. I was placed on hold for over 2 minutes and when the woman returned to the line, she said they had neither, but both are available through their online service. It didn't sound like she even checked to see if either was available, more like I was being given a sales pitch. In both instances, I felt rushed and as though my business wasn't important. I've since taken most of my business to rent movies elsewhere and would recommend anyone else who values customer service and selection to do the same.
