It's a bakery. Kinda run down a bit, but that's ok, the food isn't bad. Problem is NO CREDIT CARDS. So bring cash.

OMG!! Best Bread I have ever had!! I get it at King Sooper is Colorado Springs! If I ever move, I'm buying lots of it! Hands down best healthy bread out there. Sooo good toasted and used for sandwiches. Thanks so much for making such a great bread.

I really wanted to like this place. When I got there, a gentleman was touching up the painting of baked goods on the outside, and it was quiet.

I decided to try a rum ball, a macaroon, and baklava. The rum ball wasn't too rum-laden, though it was a bit mushy. I would have preferred a more cakey texture or something closer to gulab jamun, but it seemd undercooked. At least I didn't have to worry that my co-workers would think I'd had a few lunchtime cocktails.

The macaroon, though also seemingly a bit undercooked, was better. It was cakier than the ones I get at Whole Foods, but it had enough coconut and was quite tasty.

The baklava was my fave from this place. It was very gooey, but in a good caramelly way. The pastry was flaky, too.

I'd try this place again, but I wouldn't recommend it without finding a true gem amongst their goods first.

Pros: baklava

Cons: not cooking long enough

My family just loves the Sunflower bread made by the Bavarian Bakery. It has a wonderful, nutty flavor and is low in fat and has no sugar! It's so hard to find good bread like this! We can only buy it at one King Soopers in Fort Collins, I wish everyone carried it.

I have only been able to find the Sunflower Whole Wheat bread sold in Sam's Club and it is wonderful....better yet, it's only 45 cal per slice. It is unlike any other 45 cal bread out there...my weight loss program calls for 45 cal bread and I have been eating the ones in the grocery store, but this Sunflower Whole Wheat is heavy and good size per slice. It makes you feel like you are actually having a normal piece of bread...not some flimsy, see through, 45 cal bread. I'm so glad I found it. I would love to know if they have items for sale some where here in Colorado Springs...
