Bought a used vehicle at a good price. Traded in a vehicle and salesman tried to low ball me, I negotiate a fair price, but it was painful. A new windshield was part of the deal, it was replaced and done poorly. Been back twice to get it fixed, no dice. They are clueless in service. I'll just pay to have someone else do it right. The finance guy was a jerk as well. We won't be back.
I ordered a part for my Odyssey last Monday. Since I live in the mountains, it's about a 2 hour drive, so I asked them to ship it to me. They said Honda wouldn't do it, but they would send it when received. Got the call saying it had arrived yesterday and come pick it up. I had already given the guy my credit card number to pay for shipping, but today they say they don't take cards for prepay. I'm confused...and I cannot drive my car. This isn't going well. Now I'm told that someone will call me on Monday and nothing can be done until then. Hmmmm
I called and spoke with the service manager Bill Organ to see if they could fix a constant electrical problem on my 2008 Ridgeline, I took the vehicle in and he checked out the problem Bill found a connector on a fuse box that obviously had been left loose by another repair facility and he found right away where the problem was and fixed it in about five minutes, two other dealers could not fix it and he did it for free. I take my hat off to those guys they are the best.
Had to take the car in for a safety recall issue... I was not looking forward to the inconvenience that a typical service visit usually means for me (at other facilities.) Turned out to be an unexpectedly pleasant experience? Everyone was very polite, courteous and professional - from the time I made the appointment, until the time I picked it up. So, thanks for the outstanding service at Ralph Schomp Honda, including the nice shuttle driver that asked if I needed a ride anywhere and for the presentation of my freshly washed vehicle (You didn??t have to- but I??m glad you did!) Would highly recommend this service department to Honda owners everywhere!
Thank you, thank you!
Several weeks ago I brought in my friend, Vicky's, new purchased Honda Ridgeline for service. The complete procedure was clean/quick & most professional...from the moment I drove into the garage and the waiting time in the entertaining/clean waiting area...love the coffee machine! FINE WORK! Thx, Joe

Sold my girlfriend a car that was found to be letting water in at a fantastic rate when it was raining out. They handwaved around the issue, telling her to (literally!) "Google the problem." Pretty professional! That might never be topped.
After they were unable to fix it, the issue was diagnosed elsewhere by a more competent mechanic. And, oh yeah, there was a problem with the bushings. Nice and safe! My girlfriend brought all of this to the attention of the sales manager who - because he was around other potential customers - promised that they would fix *everything*. That was a complete lie - they held onto her car for a few days and told her to come pick it up. And they stated that they weren't going to do anything to fix either issue. Oh, they'll tell you anything around other potential suckers, of course.
I'm trying to think of how they could have possibly been greater liars or bigger frauds. Maybe when she gets it back they can place some live grenades in the trunk. Awesome work, Schomp. Don't believe anything they tell you. You are ON YOUR OWN, dealing with them.

This dealership ALWAYS place ads on various websites (including its own) where they advertise a nice car for a reasonable price, but when you get there they will tell you, "Oh, that must have been a mistake" because the car won't have any of the listed options. Then, the salesmen there would behave like you have offended them by catching their mistake. Not only that, if you look at any other car, first they will tell you a ridiculously high price and then they would act as if you are a cheapass if you point out KBB or other values. Impolite and dumb; I won't go there.

My first experience with Ralph Schomp dates back to 2006 when I leased a 2006 Honda Accord Coupe. I was very impressed with the salesman (Steve Sato) as he was very knowledgable about the vehicle and the current offers from Honda Financial. The day I leased my vehicle, I just happen to be killing some time during my lunch break as I was not planning on buying/leasing for another few months. Steve's approach and professionalism is bar none and I would highly recommend both Steve Sato and Ralph Schomp.
Fast forward 4 years and a lot has changed as I no longer live in CO and has since gotten married. This week (7/13/10) my wife and I are planning to drive back to Colorado from Texas to purchase or lease another Honda Accord Coupe from non other than Steve Sato and Ralph Schomp Honda. I'm not one to leave review's on websites, but the service I received the first time compelled me to do so. I'm just hoping for the same result this next go-around. I'm confident that I will be pleased!
I had a great experience buying my new car at Ralph Schomp Honda today! Kyle and G. provided exceptional customer service. They are straight shooters there: no haggling, no dealers fees, no dishonesty. The fact that they don't have commissions makes the buying experience very comfortable. This was much better than my last experience buying a car at a dealership. I highly recommend buying from Ralph Schomp.

5/17/10 - I love my new Honda, and I would totally do business with Ralph Schomp Honda again. I'd researched what I wanted and contacted Ralph Schomp via the interenet. Don Bailey from their internet sales dept. contact me, we set up an appt. and I traded my old vehicle for a new CRV. Don was extremely knowledgable about the new vehicle and walked me thru the entire purchase. There were no hassles with haggling over prices, or trade-in value on my car. It was a great experience. I'm definitely telling everyone I know about Don and Ralph Schomp.

I purchased an expensive set of tires 799.00 for my Honda in Sept. When I went in for my oil change in July they said the tires were wearing and already needed to be rotated and there was a nail in the back tire. I went in and they repaired the tire free only because it has been less than a year but they charged 19.99 for the rotation. I should have gone elsewhere. Most tire dealers will do these two services esp given I purchased a set of tires as a free courtesy as long as you own the tires. Expensive place to go! My fault I guess should have known. Oh wait that is why I am not a mechanic I don't know and would like to trust who I take my car to.

I have purchased 5 Honda's from Ralph Schomp over the 30 years i have lived in Denver. I currently have 2 of these still in my driveway. I am getting ready to buy a Ridge Line in the next month or so and am going back to Schomp. Lisa & Mark have a winner in their dealership

I have purchased 2 Honda's through Ralph Schomp, and have been very satisfied.Never, never, never got an out of warranty car service there though!!! My clutch went out and they tried to tell me it was 1200 to repair. I went elsewhere and the clutch was 600, added four tires (55k warrantied) and a full tune-up to it... and this all cost me 1200.They charge almost 600 for a tune up here, and are always out of all tires except for the 150 a piece ones... w/no 55k warranty :-) Honda certified technicians? Over-rated... way over-rated!

I'm a Denver native. Of all the dealerships I've dealt with (quite a few---I'm 54), this one really is the best. I'll be buying my 2009 CRV from them. Their customer service in every regard is the most ethical I've experienced.
The only negatives are: 1. I emailed Schomp for an offer - from that point on, I received a constant barrage of follow-up emails until I requested that they stop; and 2. my brief experience with the guy who determines trade-in value was not positive - he had a patronizing and condescending attitude.

We recently decided to trade in a vehicle that was having too many problems before its warranty expired. We had already decided to buy either a Toyota or Honda sedan. We went to Schomp first, simply because we live nearby, and were pleased to find sales staff who started out by asking us questions to find out what we were looking for and then, amazingly, actually showed us vehicles that were just what we were looking for instead of trying to sell us more car than we needed or wanted. We got a good price on our trade and an honest deal on a basic 07 Accord with no fancy extras, just as we wanted it, with absolutely no pressure to buy "up." Schomp is a one-price dealership with salaried sales personnel who are not under the usual pressure to outsell everyone else by whatever means they can dream up. We went home to think about it and then later went to Burt Toyota (next door), because we figured we should go ahead and test drive a Camry for the sake of comparison. There we had the the classic negative car-buying experience, with all the usual pressures from stressed-out, competing sales personnel with no sense of service to the buyer. We felt we were treated a little bit like steers in a feedlot, as we were picked off by one sales person on the floor and herded into his wife's cubicle. Practically the first thing she said to us was that we would have to sign the deal that day--Sat--because she would be way too busy for us on Monday (New Yr's Eve)! We couldn't wait to get out of the place. We felt harrassed from the minute we walked in; even the air "freshener" was so strong it was oppressive! The Camry itself was comparable to the Accord we were considering but the financial deal couldn't be matched. We wouldn't have bought anything there even if they had matched the deal. We went straight back to the sanity of Schomp and bought the Accord and are looking forward to continuing the relationship there with the service department. Even the experience of waiting in their lounge area was pleasant. It was a very busy, holiday sales weekend, and yet we never felt hurried or pressed to make a decision. If your priority is finding the absolute lowest price and you are someone who enjoys the challenge of negotiating prices, then Schomp may not be your place. If you're looking for a fair price, stress-free buying, and a great service relationship, then I wouldn't look any further. We anticipate having all of our service completed there and buying from them again some day.

Our Car was totaled in a car accident and so we had to buy a new car. After the insurance company writes a check for a totaled vehicle things move very quickly and a decision must be made on a new vehicle in just a few days. Knowing this we wanted to find a car before we had to felt rushed into a decision. We had already decided on to buy another Honda so we searched the Honda web site for dealers in the area and found Ralph Schomp Honda and a few others. We e-mailed them looking for quotes and answers to questions. Most of the responses we received were a little pushy, but not the representatives from Ralph Schomp. Being in a position where we needed a car and having been through a tragic event the last thing we wanted to do was haggle over anything on a vehicle. We wanted the best price possible for the car we wanted. We were able to make an appointment to come up and look at both the new and used Honda Pilots. The sales rep repeated told us he wanted us to make the right decision for us, it was not about him getting a commission and he wanted us to be very happy with our experience. We test drove the new 2008 Honda Pilots that day and inquired about a few used ones. We received no pressure to buy a new over a used car or to spend more then we wanted to on a car. We received no pressure when we requested time to think about it and wait for our insurance check to come in. We were even able to place a deposit on a used vehicle to hold it until we could make it back up, no pressure at all. Over the next week we watched their on-line inventory to see if anything new came in that might meet our needs. We found another vehicle we were interested in and so contacted our sales rep to get more information. In a few days he had that car pushed to the front of the line in the service department, detailed and waiting for us when we came by a few days latter. He had placed a sold tag in the window of both that car and the car we had a hold on, just so we could have a chance to look and compare both of them. Once we choose a car there was no haggling over the price, and they took and additional $600.00 off the sticker, just because. Because our insurance check was being help by the our bank for 5 days they allowed us to write a check for a down payment that day and they would hold it until the funds were cleared. In the end, I have to say this was the best experience I have had purchasing a car from a dealership. The Service was fantastic; they really made a wow impression on me. Ralph Schomp has made life long customers of us and we would recommend anyone who wants great service and no hassle in a car buying experience to go to Ralph Schomp.

17 years ago I realized the only smart thing to do to get away from dealers who shaft the customer on repairs was to "shop for a dealer". After deciding on Honda, my wife and I visited EVERY Honda dealer in the Metro area. Ralph Schomp won my business after that research, but has EARNED it every year since. They are simply there to serve. I've never had to deal with slick sales people just trying to close a deal, and I've never felt like a chump after getting repairs there. I've found them fair at all times, and I have full faith and confidence in them.

I had service repair performed on my Honda. At first it was only a couple hour repair until some bolts broke when the mechanic began the work. He was honest, apologized, told me what happened and said that he had to keep it all day. He offered me a rental car which I did not want but I was provided transportation back to my home AND when my car was repaired he returned it to my home which eliminated another trip back to the Honda dealer. I respect him for his honesty and how he handled the situation.

I bought a Honda Civic from here, and it was surpisingly pleasant. The dealer didn't try to screw me over or sell me a more expensive car than I could afford. He was actually helpful and courteous throughout the whole process, and gave me a good price for my trade-in.

Rod was an exceptional salesman who allowed us to explore all of our options. We had a BLAST on our test drive. Their cars scream...FUN, PERFORMANCE, DYNAMIC! We were treated like a guest in his home. We were also introduced to managers and other staff members who were nearby!
