I have never written a review before this, but I felt I had to say something. I went to Joe's Tire because I needed a set of tires for my wife's car; I had already been to the big guys (Town Fair, Sears, and Pep Boys). I admit I was lured in by their ""freebies"". I felt like I was being pressured to buy their house brand, I asked for Goodyear's, but was told the tires were no good. When it came time for the quote, I was shocked at the add on's (supposed to be free!!) It was almost $75.00 per tire to mount & balance, then there's the free alignment that costs $80.00! I called Rich @ Joe's and he explained everything and gave me a great price, I had him put on the Goodyear's that afternoon. Rich also told me about a rebate ($80.00) that the other guys never mentioned. Maybe they keep it for themselves. I will never go anywhere else.
It was a week ago Saturday. I got a flat tire on my Pickup truck. I went to a few tire dealers in Waterbury only to find out that the 20 Tires on my truck would have to be a special order. And being Saturday they would not be able to order the tire until Monday. Which would mean I would not see it until Tuesday. Even though there are plenty of the same trucks on the road. I was very surprised to find that out.
I was lucky enough to go to Joes Tire Shop. They had the very same model tire I needed and had me in and out very quickly. I guess the other repair shops just werent prepared to help out with and everyday flat tire replacement situation. I am new to the area. But I know where I will go for my tires in Waterbury in the future. Joes Tire Shop. Thanks again for taking the stress out of my weekend.
