I'm a newbie with Kelly. I have applied for a good position that involves helping people with technology issues. I have submitted all necessary paperwork and am waiting on a reply. I updated everything today with a rep on the phone and was told that I would receive a call from their other department called "Kelly connect" and to wait patiently for the call. I will wait...
I have also read horror stories about Kelly using a bait and switch system that entails offering a somewhat good position and then suddenly calling you and offering you a job that metaphorically says "Here's your broom and trash can, now do a good job". I sincerely hope that isn't the case here.

I would NOT recommend this agency. I left several messages for my recruiter to get updates, all of which went unanswered. I was told that she had "stepped away from her desk" and once was told that she had been very busy. There are no good excuses for not returning a phone call. Three months went by and I had not been placed once. I had gone onto the Kelly website and noticed that they were CURRENTLY accepting resumes for "several" administrative positions, which paid $17 - $23/hr and were 1 - 2 years in length. After I had applied I actually had the priviledge of speaking to my phantom recruiter. She stated that the positions weren't currently opened but that the ad was placed in anticipation of possible future openings. Where I come from that's called bait and switch. When I told her that I felt this was extremely misleading and that I didn't appreciate the fact that she had never returned my calls let alone kept me updated, I was told that I was unprofessional and would need to seek employment through an agency other than Kelly. Unbelievable and highly unprofessional.

I have been recruiting for Kelly Services for the past 16 years. We are not only an equal opportunity employer, but the candidates that make appointments with us are always treated with dignity and respect.
It pains me to read unfavorable reviews. We pay our employees as much as we can and bill rates to our customers are based on costs such as taxes and social security etc...
We have occasions when people do not qualify for a position, but that situation is based on a multitude of factors.
As far as any unemployment, "games" This remark is equally disturbing.
Kelly Services has been in business since 1946. We may not be the biggest service, but we are the best. Potential employees are our business. We value an opportunity to serve

I've worked with Kelly Services in Farmington for about 10 years now. They found me the best job I ever had and have been nothing but courteous and helpful. I've never had a bad experience with them. OfficeTeam, however, is a different story for another day. Thanks Kelly!

Dear "Very Rude". Well...if you conducted yourself with the negative and arrogant attitude displayed in your comment, it's no wonder they did not hire you. I have had experiences with Kelly in Farmington, and they all have been pleasant.

I wouldnt recommend any one working for this agency also.I called the office in farmington and glastonbury, and was told I didnt qualify for a position that I applied for and my resume shows that I have all the experience required for the position. The rude lady hung up on me cause I told her I am well qualified for any position, as I have been ion this field for over 15 years. This is the first time I have ever encountered such a thing! Screw Kelly Services!

Where to start; they're rude, liars and basically conartists. They are nice at first because they see you as potential money. Not only will your "assigment" boss pay Kelly Services but they also get $2.00 for every hour I work!! Money right out of my pocket, for hours I'VE worked. They don't pay for any of your health insurance and while working for Kelly you cannot get healthcare from your assigment"boss", no paid holidays, sick days or vaca unless you meet their ever changing unattainable requirements.
Please save yourself the headache of working for them and keep the money you make for yourself; after all YOU are the one going to work everyday!!!

I highly recommend this agency to those interested in substitute teaching. Assignments are available quite frequently and they are consistently offering full time positions. The staff are friendly, reliable, and extremely flexible. I am glad I had the opportunity to work with them. You can tell they love their jobs and helping others. I can't believe someone gave them a negative review.

I do not recommend going with this staffing agency. i would go else where if you want a good agency. The Enfield office is nice but not this office. the recruiters are rude.
