I purchased a 2006 Toyota Rav4 from this dealership , I asked all the important questions ,,, they informed me that nothing was wrong with this car. After having the car the for about 3 weeks I had the car looked over by a mechanic and was told that the car had been hit with front damage..I also noticed that the windshield was not original the car has after market parts on it. Also my breaks are not working properly and many other things. I brought this car in to have all these things fixed I left my car there for two days and they did NOTHING they fixed NOTHING.. I went there in person and spoke to the manager Bruce Levy...He approached me in the lobby and told me that I cannot return this car and also insulted me and told me I had a problem keeping cars.. I feel I been mistreated because im a women and im Hispanic. Im not done yet I will contact my Lawyer and the Attorney General's office..this is not right and this should not happen to anyone.....Jennifer

I had a really bad experience buying my last nissian there, In addition the service people will try anything to make sure you warrenty does not cover the claim.

I had the worst experience.I bought a car for a very high price and spent $2500 in the next 2 yrs for repairs/replacements.Make sure you perform a thorough check of your car before you purchase from them.They dont cover for any repairs once you buy it.

On Thursday, March 13th 2007, I had repaired done on my 2005- Nissan Altima at the Harte Nissan located in Hartford, CT.

Unfortunately, the service was inadequate because the staff failed to deliver what was promised. I am disappointed because I spent 8 hours waiting for a service that was promised to be delivered in no more than 3 hours. The quality of service was under the industry standards. I was billed for an extraneous amount of money (+$1400.00), when the service rendered was not worth 1 cent of it.
Events:

?Prior to the service rendered, I had made an appointment to avoid the lines and meet my 1 pm deadline as I was planning on traveling outside the country- The reservation was made for 7am.

?At 7:30 am, I rendered my keys and was advised that it will only take between 2-3 hours for service

?At 2:30pm, my car is still being serviced; when asked about the delay- I was informed that another customer, who hadn?t made any prior appointment had an emergency and needed to be serviced. It made me come to the conclusion that the other customer was more important.

? I requested to leave the car behind for the weekend- my representative informed me that I would leave it at my own risk and if any damages were done to the car, they wouldn?t be held accountable for the damages.

?Returning from my trip abroad, I phoned to the Harte Nissan center to inquire about the operating hours so that I could pick up the car for work (New Jersey)- I was informed that the service open at 9am.

?When I arrived at 8:30am ? The service center had been opened since 7am ? I arrived late to work due to the incompetency of Harte Nissan.

After several years of recieving that service they suddenly decided they no longer wanted to honor the agreement.I now have to take time off from work and fight this in small claims court. What a nightmare!

Recently I went to Harte Nissan for an oil change. I dropped my car off on Saturday and it was supposed to take only an hour. I had errands to run so i gave the service tech my number and told him to call me when it was all set. Sunday came and they were closed. I called Harte Nissan and the receptionist was so rude! I asked her if my car was there and she said "I don't work in service how am i supposed to know" with an attitude.I had to go to work the next day so I had to ask for a ride. I finally got my car after work on Monday. It was the WORST service I have ever received. They never called me back to let me know that my car was all set and the receptionist was incredibly rude! I would not recommend going there.

I went here for an oil change and it was fairly quick. Just make sure that you call ahead and make an appointment. After that just drop the car off and wait about 30-60 min and your car is already. It was like 30 bucks for the oil change. Its a little higher the Toyotas but I don't mind it. They will keep you car keep and make sure you fuilds are all topped off and all. I would suggest that if you are interseted in a car look into a Nissan. Long lasting engines and a good price. Much better then Honda or Toyota. The parking lot is aways filled with cars. So you can find what your looking for.
