This place is great for the little ones. They have a place that is safe and they can interact with everything! Parking is pretty good. Best ages 2-4 and price isn't bad either!

This is definitely not a fancy museu with a lot of extravagant exhibits that will impress the parents. What you will find is a rather large museum that will be greatly loved by kids ranging from ages 1-5. The museum is 3 stories. The bottom floor is an underwater sea cave with bubbling water displays, slides, and a beautifully decorated seascape. This floor is reserved for children 3 and under and shoes are not permitted. Socks are provided if needed. The second floor has a room with a kitchen area, train table, post office, and bakery area. The train table is small and cute and has a few holes cut in the center so kids can get right in there and play.
Another room has a 2 story fort with apples that can be raised up and down in a bucket. The largest exhibit is a brand new room with cars and space ships that the kids can climb into. The upper level has a room with a large slide, see saw, and musical instruments as well as a large section that has a simulated corn maze to walk through. There are very small sections that have cars, baby dolls and a kitchen, a reading area, block play, and a large train display. This was really set up poorly because the younger kids can't see without being held, but they do love it. There is also a hot air balloon that you can climb up into to view the train scene. The museum has kid friendly bathrooms with changing areas, a supply of diapers and wipes, and child size toilets. The price of admission is about $6 per person. We opted for the $100 per year family membership which allows our children and unlimited adults. It is reciprical with a number of museums throughout the country and a few others within Connecticut.

PROS: Great for small children
CONS: Very few staff if help is needed

Might be us but my kids got restless after a short time. They didnt like what they had to do/look at. It was nice but at 3 their attention spans arent too long! I'd go again if they were older, I didnt think the price was too great either

Kidcity Childrens Museum consists of two buildings full of theme rooms. There is a lot of variety for the children as they go from room to room. They can go play on a ship. If they prefer they can walk through a corn maze. Or they might enjoy playing in the movie room. The Museum seems best suited for kids up to 4 or 5. Try to go during the week. On weekends, holidays and vacations the place gets packed and the kids are everywhere.
