I had the lobster bisque to start, spectacular! My entree was called Lemon Chicken and it was even better. Expertly prepared. Fun crowd at the bar and overall cheerful mood in the restaurant. Very nice menu.

The food was ok, much more geared to the drinking bar type, I felt kind of awkward there. The food wasn't that well priced either. I probably wouldn't go there again if I was looking for just food.

I have eaten at this lovely atmosphere which lends itself to an enjoyable time. the food is excellent and the menue is varied. The service is first class and there is a policy of customer's first. I tried the penny pasta and the New York strip which were excellent. prices are reasonable too.

Tucked in the back of 88 Main Street South in Southbury is a hidden gem. A quaint little bar with rustic qualities and a friendly crowd. Quite a variety on the menu. The salads were all made with quality and very fresh greens. The fish(Halibut) was fantastic and the presentation even better. The place was very clean(new owners sometime in 2004). We're going back!

This is one of the best values in the Southbury area. We started going to the Rathskeller 4 years ago after new owners upgraded it. The food is first class- excellent in fact. I'd not have expected to find entrees of this quality hidden at

We stumbled upon the Rathskeller after living in Southbury for over 5 years. It is in a basement but very clean and well lit. The food was nothing short of excellent and fresh! My chopped salad was outstanding and my wife's pear salad with

The Rathskeller Lounge has been open for years in Southbury and is one of the few places in town to go to for pub grub and something to drink. It's a bit of a dive- located in the back of a shopping center it is hard to find and attracts
