Mike's Auto & Towing Inc

Last friday, Sept 11th, we lost our alternator while driving from NYC to a wedding in Vermont. We were able to drive to Mike's garage in Windsor, CT where we left our SUV. The owner told us it would cost us $260 and that we could pick it up on Sunday on our way back. We told him we couldn't possibly make it before 5 pm, he reassured us that even though the garage would be closed, someone would come and give us our car. When we arrived on Sunday at 6:45 the "someone" had to check with the boss, who sent the message to come back on Monday morning. After an hour of pleading with the answering service and the "someone", we called the police. They arranged for us to pay in cash and the "someone" to come and give us our car. He came, couldn't find the key and we ended up staying the night at a hotel. Today at 6 am we went to the garage. The bill was $360. The owner informed my husband that the $260 was for the spare part, the rest was labor. When my husband told him that was not what he had said, he shrugged. If you can, avoid this place at ALL COST.

My husband just had a double blow out on the highway two months back. He has AAA so he called the. They called Mike's. Within just 15 minutes they were there and towed him to the nearest service station. They helped relieve a stressful situation by being timely and efficient.
