We've been taking our dog to Wagging Tails since he was twelve weeks old and he has been faithfully attending every Tuesday and Thursday since. The staff have always treated him (and us!) kindly and they even spoiled him when he was still a pup by keeping him in their office to sleep, away from the others! Our dog wags his tail (pun intended) all the way from the car to the building and then paws at the door to get in. He absolutely loves it and WE absolutely love how tired he is at the end of the day!! I agree with the other review that the prices are very reasonable and the hours were the best in the area (open until 7pm for those unexpected late nights at work). Can't say enough about them...

I've enrolled my dogs in several dog day care centers within Southeastern Connecticut over the years. IMHO, Wagging Tails is the best one of all for the following reasons:
1) it's a great place to socialize your dog. During day care the small dogs are separated from the big dogs so that the little ones feel safe and the big ones have some extra room to romp;
2) Wagging Tails has a great raining facility with high;y skilled instructors and both indoor and outdoor training areas so there are no rain dates(!);
3) If your dog loves to play ball, frisbee, or tug, this is the place for him/her to be. When it's warm outside the pools come out and the dogs have a ball. They are tired and happy when it's time to go home.
4) Prices are very reasonable. Check out their training course fees. Awesome.

Wagging Tails instructors train your dog and you with positive behavior modification. There are no shock collars here and no loud horns. It's a gentle way and a better way.
The service you'll experience at Wagging Tails can be as personalized as you'd like. Over time you'll find that the entire staff will get to know you and your dog. They learn about the needs of your pet from playing with him/her and they will learn about your needs from interactions with you. They may suggest training ideas, a course, or new ways to play and interact with your pet.
My wife and I tried a lot of dog day care places over a lot of time, and we experienced some good places, and some that my dogs just couldn't wait to escape from or didn't want to enter when I dropped them off. Wagging Tails is the one dog care center that all of my dogs consider their home-away-from-home. They are happy going in, and they are TIRED and happy when they come out again. Give 'em a try. I did. I'll never go anywhere else again. It's a long trip for us, and it's worth every mile!

Pros: Great socialization and training for your dog. Highly trained and attentive staff. They get to know you and your dog(s). Clean. Free parking.

Cons: Located near downtown Norwich, which is quite a drive for my family, but it's woirth it!!
