Concetta's Italian Restaurant in the center of Bloomfield is a great pizza spot. If you are looking for pizza in the greater Hartford area, this is it!
I live around the corner and have dined in and also ordered takeout. The restaurant ambiance is probably average to below average, as is the service (on most days- a little slow). There are some items on the menu that I would highly recommend....mainly the pizza. They have a wide variety of pizza's that are really good. I would definitely recommend this as a pizza spot; however, some of the other items on their menu are average....like their salad, chicken, and the few pasta dishes I've had.

Concetta's is a local restaurant/pizza joint, and while some things are standard there are some stand-outs. First is a killer pizza called Clams Casino. It comes with either a red or white sauce, and is topped with whole clams, bacon, garlic, green pepper, and onions. It sounds weird, but everyone I know who's ever had it has loved it.
The other killer dish is the pasta i fagioli soup. Pasta, beans, bacon, and lots of veggies. It tastes like homemade.
I haven't eaten my way though the pasta dishes, but I understand they're pretty much standard. So are the beverages.
