My family has always used Donnellys ,had a problem with my refrig the man was out a hour after i called and fixed it that day.The tech was very nice the service call did go up since the last time i used them but the money i saved for not having to buy a new frig or throwing away my food was well worth it.

I wish I had read reviews before I called them. VERY rude and obviously overpriced. $116 to show up for 5 minutes, and didn't really check ANYTHING. Just said that I needed a new "control panel" for $180 + and they'd be back. PUH LEEZE. I don't trust these people, and I don't want them back.

What i wrote below is NO LONGER VALID. They became abusive during the visit.
I told them the shelf of the freezer rollers had gone bad and it caused the door not to close properly.

I had asked them to get the part in advance and agreed to pay for it whether it was right or wrong since I could easily see the problem gave them the make model and serial number. The guy came out without it.
Service man told us the problem was our defrosting, I had to insist the frost was from the door not fitting properly due to the roller that was very obviously bromen( bent, missing teeth and ball bearings had come out of it!) the receptionist got very rude when I reminded her of this when they wanted to schedule another visit AFTER they got the part.

The shame is what I wrote before was that my famil had used them for years and was always satisfied. My Gramndmother did. mother did before my sister and I and they are owned by the same family . Always kind and considerate never charging for a return call to get a part I have always found them to be honest and decent peoples.

The receptionist is very rude and they scam their clients by charging exhorbitant fees. They charged us $413 to fix our Subzero and all the parts but one for $40 were under warranty. The guy was on site 2 hours so that is $175 an hour for labor. When I called to question this excess, the woman was rude and a man later called to say that is just what they charge for this kind of work. I won't do business with them again and have written a letter to Subzero questioning their choice of service vendor. Terrible!

Kitchen Aid set up a service call for me and I called to ask the service call rate and the woman on the phone was very abrupt and rude. I cancelled the apt and called another Repair place, turns out the second place I called was also more reasonably priced and polite.

I called KitchenAid to report Donnelly's as rude to customers over the phone.

I went to Donnelly Appliance on a recommendation from an appliance store when my oven needed service. It took a week to get a serviceman to my home to assess it.

After the technician had found the problem, the service rep could not give me a price for the part nor any kind of estimate to do the repairs.

Then it took another three weeks to get the part and have the technician install it.

The service reps on the phone were a bit gruff and not very pleasant, but the technician was correct in acertaining the problem got the job done.

I am not sure if I would use them again.
