We were looking forward to the night out, but didn't see what all the fuss was about. The food was okay, prices were fair which is probably why it was so crowded. Glad we had a reservation because the wait could have been terrible otherwise. Guacamole was highly recommended and was pretty good and fresh, but chips are extra cost. My husband wasn't' impressed by the lamb. Service was slow. If you don't order everything at the beginning you could be sitting there for a while just to order the entrees after the initial drink and appetizer order. They forgot our ceviche and we didn't get it until the main meal came, which by then we were full of chips and tortillas.

Sloppy Jose's is also my favorite Mexican restaurant in Milford. We forget how to get there so we don't go very often but I've enjoyed the food every time we've gone.

Sloppy Joses has been our local favorite for fresh Mexican food. A small but cozy place, quaintly furnished with a working fireplace, their food tastes freshly made. Though not as reasonably priced as chain restaurants, the atmosphere and fresh food makes up for it.

Sloppy Joses is a great Mexican Resturant that is short on ambience and long on good food and excellent service. The parking can be a problem and the place is usually packed but that is nothing once you are sitting down to your favorite hot and spicy entree with a margarita in your hand.

Sloppy Jose's is my favorite Mexican restaurant in Milford. They have a very elaborately decorated dining room, with a fireplace and bar. They have great authentic Mexican food. The sals and chips are delicous, and are a great free start to your meal. The margarita's are tasting (they sometime have specials, ask you waiter). You really can't go wrong when ordering anything on the menu here, I have tried lots of different entrees and have never been unsatisfied. This restaurant is not cheap, but it is worth the slight splurge if you really love authentic Mexican food. They have tak out available too, but no delivery.
PROS: Awesome food, great decorations, fun atmosphere
CONS: Can get crowded, not exactly cheap eats
