Baang has the best Pacific rim cuisine - even finer than the restaurants in NYC. The menu has a wide variety, and the restaurant smells so fragrant with ginger and other spices when you walk in. Nothing on the menu is a disappointment. The side of vegtables were so fanstastic, we ended up ordering a second one for "dessert". Worth the trip up from NYC. I'm really shocked to see that all the good restaurants are in CT now instead of NYC. What's going on?

Pros: Parking!, Delish!

Cons: Outside NYC, No Reservations, Can get crowded

Editorial from

Baang cafe & Bar is a lively, hip restaurant where French accents---gratins and so forth---dot the Asian menu. We prefer to tackle dishes family-style, sharing good starters like the Szechuan lobster crepes and firecracker spring rolls…
