Sports bar partially owned by former Met's manager Bobby Valentine. Decent pub grub. Large selection of brews. Vast collection of sports memorabilia. Reasonable prices.

Conveniently located in downtown Stamford, and owned by baseball manager Bobby Valentine, BV's is a nice sporting oasis. Lots of cool memorbilia from various sports. Recommend the wings.

Bobby V's is a decent "hole in the wall" type sports bar. The fact that it's the only real sports bar in Stamford doesn't hurt either. It's got a large rectangular bar, Cheers style, with tables surrounding it. There's also a spacious back room of tables. Unfortunately, the TV's are still mostly old school and small. There're a few plasma's, but they're in need of a lot more. The food is typical bar food, but if you want to get comfy for a Sunday of watching football, there's no better place in town.

Pros: The only game in town

Cons: Small TV's, and not always a good view

You do not need to be a Mets fan to enjoy this sports bar. Great bar to hangout and watch any game. Typical bar food, but plenty of memoribilia hanging around for any sports fan to enjoy.

Make no mistake: this is no ordinary sports bar. It's a shrine to one of Stamford's favorite sons, owner Bobby Valentine. Born in the city, he was a star ball player in high school and, up until 2002, manager of the New York Mets. Think of…
