    .

Chips is known for their breakfast's (I hope). I did not order their breakfast nor am I going to review their breakfast's...I am going to tell you about our cheeseburger lunch.

After waiting in a line for 45 minutes we finally sat down to eat. We ordered two cheeseburger lunches with fries and a coke. We were asked "how do you want that cooked" and we both said medium was fine. When the lunch arrived one burger was overcooked and very dry, and one was undercooked and very greasy.

The french fries have a flour like coating on them. This soaks up extra oil and we found them too greasy to eat.

When we began talking about our food, that's when I noticed that our waitress and the manager (who was standing by our table) had disappeared.

Now lets discuss the bill. Chip's adds cost on to the bill for every item you ask for on your cheeseburger. The two soft drinks were very expensive. So our simple two cheeseburger lunch came to $24! Does that sound fair to you?

I found the manager by the kitchen and we told him of our dissatisfaction. He offered to knock off the price of the french fries and suggested that we should have spoke up sooner (which we should have). So now the $24 cheeseburger lunch was still going to be over $20.

If you want a cheeseburger lunch go to Five Guys. We ordered 2 jr cheeseburgers for $8.50 and the toppings are free. Five Guys made a mistake on one of burgers and brought us another one for free.

I would not recommend Chip's for lunch.
