We recently moved to Derby and avoided Italian Pavilion due to the negative reviews on this site. Then a friend said that we were missing out on the best pizza in Derby. I'm so glad we listed to that friend. Now IP is the only pizza place we order from. The food is always good and fresh. If you order to dine in the restaurant, it isn't any place fancy, but the service is always prompt and friendly. Please ignore the poor reviews. I agree with others that they must have been left by rivals.

I have bee eating there all my life and have yet to find 1 reason that i should stop going there. The food is always fresh and made to order. Their lasagna is the bomb.

Delicious pizza. I don't know what's up with these people. maybe a rival pizza place is running a smear campaign! pretty much every friday i get a hot, fresh and delicious pie from the nice people at Italian Pavilion!

Staff always on cell phones or playing on the computer. Food is just below average (tasteless). Rude people (mainly the customers that frequent this place). Cars park near the door, makes it difficult if you are taking out an order with your hands full. Nobody seems to care at this place. I get better service at fast food establishments, better quality and price.

The menu looks good, and some of the dishes are, but the staff is not friendly! I finished eating and was trying to get the waitress' attention, she intentionally ignored me, and let me sit while she was clearing off all her tables!! Very inconsiderate

The last time we went there, we had been sitting at our booth for at least 5 minutes and no waitress came to take our order and even the pizza maker behind the counter ignored us and was watching TV!
We walked out of there and never returned! He saw us walk out(we had to walk past him) and he did not say one word to us!
therefore I cannot say that I'm surprised with the many bad reviews this business has gotten thus far.

I think that their pizza is good.I don't come here very often,but I do know of people that come every week.The prices seem to be very reasonable.I never had any complaints about what I had to eat there.

the five stars are for how RUDE these people are.
They get an A + for RUDENESS.
And they get another A+ for the CHEAP PRICES and the CHEAP QUALITY OF THEIR PIZZA, and their other foods.

The place is nice because its close to everything.but I dont like this place because the pizza is no good and nothing is good.I donmt like things dirty or old food.Thats all I want to write.

THE EXPRESSIONS ON THE WORKERS IS AS SOUR AS THEIR SAUCE !
I COULD NOT HAVE THE HEART TO SERVE IT TO MY DOG.
THERE ARE PLENTY OF PIZZA RESTAURANTS WHO #1 ARE FRIENDLY, #2 HAVE FRESH TOMATOES AND MOZZERELLA CHEESE .
THE RESTAURANT DOESN'T SCORE VERY HIGH ON AESTHETIC VALUE, NO FINE AMBIANCE HERE AT ITALIAN PAVILLION

Pavilion's pizza is kind of greasy. It is not the best but it's probably the cheapest because they don't use good ingredients.
The restaurant itself is dingy looking. old tables and chairs.
It isn't that clean looking.
PROS: low prise

I didn't care for Pavilion's.
The staff is indifferent and aloof.
They do HAVE GOOD PRICED LUNCH SPECIALS EVERYDAY.
Other than that , it's the taste and freshness that leaves me weary.

THE OTHER PROBLEM IS THAT THE TOPPINGS SEEM CANNED (MUSHROOMS). THE TOMATOE SAUCE IS VERY BITTER, SORT OF A RANCID TASTE.
EVERYTIME I'VE BEEN THERE..I GOT SICK !
SORRY, BUT SOMETIMES THE TRUTH HURTS.
IT'S CHEAP ENOUGH, BUT NOT WORTH GETTING NAUSEA OVER.
