Just bought a new Genesis - it was love at lst sight. They bent over backwards to get the color we wanted. This will be our 5th Hyundai and keep going back to Key each time. Great Place!

Old outdated style of doing business was a real turn off. I had a good quote from a Hyundai dealer in the area but wanted to provide an opportunity for a dealer in my hometown to win my business. I sent an e-mail request for a bid to Key telling them what my best offer was and giving them an opportunity to beat it. Instead of replying electronicaly I got a phone call from someone that assured me the only way I could get a price was to visit the dealership, she also said that I would need a written offer from each competing dealership in order for that bid to be considered. Trust is a two way street, and my experiance is that untrusting organizations are usually untrustworthy.There are just too many stores selling this great product who are more up front, honest, professional and low pressure to put up with this old school nonsense.

I had the best experience at key hyundai.. we were driving thru the area when the tpms lite went on in my car and I freaked out. we called key hyundai (they were automatically loaded in ou r GPS) and they took us in right away. there ended up being a nail in our tire and they patched it and didn't even charge us. we don't live in the area but i will re commend the dealership to anyone i know that lives in the hartford area and is looking for a hyundai dealer...great job!

My girlfriend just purchased a 2007 Hyundai from Key Hyundai. Overall I am very disappointed with their dealership. She works part-time and has limited income but they promised to get her a loan. They took her car and gave her dealer plates for the new one until they could put a loan together for her. She went back several times and spent several hours there waiting for them, each time they told her that the paperwork was ready for her to sign when in fact they didn't even start on it until some time after she had arrived and was made to wait for hours. On her third trip to the dealership they told her that she would need a co-maker on her loan since her income was not sufficient and she asked me to co-sign, to which I agreed. They had me fax all of my information in and told her that the loan was approved. She made an appointment for us to go back the following week to finish the deal.

When we arrived for our appointment we were made to wait for over an hour, When we finally went in to sign I noticed that her name wasn't anywhere on the paperwork. When I asked about this I was told that she had already signed all of her forms and that my name was first on the loan. I looked over everything again and her name was not on any of the forms. They just kept telling us that my name was first. They were right, my name is first - and last. I own the car!

Be advised that these guys are very deceptive and will do anything to make the sale. I read what I was signing so I knew what they were doing - I just didn't like the way they tried to hide it when they were asked directly about it.

Also, their customer service is terrible - they make you wait for everything. Our final appointment, one which we were told that everything had been prepared for us to sign and would take only ten minutes, ended up taking over three hours. The whole time they shuffle you from one area to another and give you fake smiles and tell you one line of BS after another.

As far as the car goes - she likes it but is disappointed that it is not hers.

Hyundais are good cars but try to avoid these guys if you can. If not, have plenty of time and be VERY CAREFUL.
