Boarded dog for 8 days, paid extra for the runs, picked up my goldendoodle she wasn't walking right or standing, she had Kennel Crate, she obviously wasn't walked at all and it took over a week 1/2 for her to walk after seeing vet......never again

George ans Shaunessy love dogs and the dogs just love them.We take our dog there every weekday and sometimes board him on the weekends. He has gone for training there. He loves his playmates there and when he sees George or Shaunessy he melts!Unbelievably clean and our dog loves it as much as he does being home. You won't be disappointed Bob

we take our dog there every work day so he doesn't have to be home alone. He loves it! He is always so excited to get inside. He has friends there he plays with all day long. This has really helped socialize him and he is a great dog who gets along well with people and animals.
the staff is extremely helpful and we have never had a problem. iff he gets dirty during the day they give him a bath.
also, we take our dog there for training classes. these too are great! we have a wonderful, well behaved obediant dog.

I take my dog to doggie daycare 5 days a week and he plays with 5 other do he loves it! I leave his toys and everything. they take him out 3 times a day and they have voulenteers who play with all the daycare dogs as well as the boarders. i have never had a problem with them and the staff are always friendly and know alot about dogs im appauled that people write these stories about black birch farm i've been taking bailey there since 2004 george and staff are great definetly take your dog here!

George is a great boss but the only thing is his workers SUCK AT THEIR JOBS.they give the wrong medicine to different dogs and always lose dogs.to make this smaller to all people...black birch farm can BURNNN IN HEEELLL..

After reading all the reviews of black birch farm i didn't want to even look at the place but i decided to anyway since we needed to go on vacation soon and i was new to the area. I had called them to see what they had to offer and they were very helpful in explaining everything to me, later on that day i took a tour of their facilities and i loved there indoor/ outdoor kennels. i booked my dog for a week stay and i had left her toys and bedding and got everything back and my dog even got a free bath and was very happy when we got her back and was playful with the staff! i recommend anyone to check them out!

The first time I used them, I brought my dogs bedding...I thought it would make him feel more comfortable. When I picked him up, he was all wet, they hadn't dried him. I asked for the bedding, they said I never brought it. I insisted I did but they couldnt find it....why wasnt it in his cage??? A couple days later they called and said they found it. I picked it up and it reaked of urine. Every dog in that place must have walked by it and urinated. I threw it away as soon as I got it.
As if that wasnt bad enough, I gave them a second try. I booked my reservation in the fall for the spring. They confirmed everything was all set. I phone again a couple of months before I was going to board him, George told me everything was all set. A week before we were leaving on our curise, I phoned again to confirm. They told me that he needed the Kennel Cough treatment. I asked why they didnt tell me that a couple of months ago when I called....as it was too late for him to have it now!!! It needs to be done at least a couple weeks before boarding. I asked George about this....he didnt want to know anything about it! He was rude. Never again...never again.

We left our three dogs there over the holidays and they were returned to us happy, healthy...& bathed. They will be going back for a long weekend with no hesitation.

It is a horable buisness. Dogs have died there and alot of dogs have gotten away and hot by cars. it's not george but since he is not really even there it's his STUPID ASS EMPLOYEES THAT KNOW NOTHING ABOUT DOGS AND ARE THERE JUST TO MAKE A QUICK BUCK. they are the ones that TRY to give your dogs meds and screw up all the time. DON'T GO HERE IF YOU LOVE YOUR DOG

We purchased a Giant Schnauzer puppy from George in 2002. I paid $2000 for this dog which was "guarenteed". Well within 4 months she started leaking urine, not peeing, but dripping urine whenever she fell asleep. Our vet stated this was a breeding problem. When we contacted George, he denied it as a problem, Said he had never heard of this before. I have spoke with others who purchased a dog from this litter who had similar problems. We were never able to get in touch with him again, he never returned our many calls or emails. She is now 5 and takes medication daily to help control the leaking, but despite it she still leaks. BE VERY WARY OF THIS BUSINESS. I have not been to the kennel, but based on my experience with George, I WOULD NEVER TAKE MY PET THERE!!

My dog was not even a year old when we started taking her to daycare there. Needless to say shortly afterwards, they let her chew on a wire fence, she came home with a bloody mouth and when I called them to ask what happened George didn't want to know anything. It was only after pleading and cried that he told me the truth of what happened. He also stated that he was not responsible. He told us if the dog died or ran away that would be different. Needless, to say almost over $3,000 in medical bills to get my poor dogs teeth fixed and they could of cared less. Do not take your dog there if you love it and to top it off the video camera they stated they had to check in on your dog never worked. George should be ashamed of himself. I was very disappointed in the way he treated us after she got badly hurt. DO NOT TAKE YOUR DOG THERE.

CONS: Pretends to care about your dog until something happens to itl.

NEVER use this place, my dog was epileptic and was given another dog's medication by this people (which my vet confirmed later on) HE DIED, after the 3rd day he stayed there. He was a happy puppy of only 18 months...

I have used Black Birch many times to board my dogs, even dropping him off with his bed and favorite toys. They are always pleasant and seem to be very good to the animals and honor any requests you may have. I highly recommend them.
