My kids are 15, 12, and 9. I have been with NPG since their births. I have had very good experiences with this practice. Many times I brought my kids in for sick visits, when I probably should have stuck it out at home. They have been very understanding. I have needed forms filled out for camps and immunization records and the office staff has always been helpful. I know for a fact that working in a fast paced office is very trying, especially dealing with tired and worried parents. We all have to use a little more courtesy with one another. I have brought fresh fruit from my garden and chocolates in for the staff. You should see how appreciative they are for these nice gestures. I have been very pleased with Dr. Geller, Dr. Sullivan, and Dr. Newell's humor over the years and their ability to meet the kid's on their level. We always feel like we have had their concern. A little kindness on everyone's part goes a long way.

i can never get through on the phone and when i do i am put on hold for 20 minutes, what is the point of even bringing my kids here they are obviously to busy to care about my kids problems and just put me on hold right away before i even tell them why im calling, so frustrating i ended up just taking them to the walk in clinic.

Let's start with the phone system, always busy. Kinda sad if you need an answer right away from your child's doctor. I may have to drive there instead of calling now, because it's faster. My situation right now with them is my 2 yr. old daughter had a apt three weeks ago to get the H1N1 mist. I arrived for the apt waited 40 mins. then was told they scheduled it too close to when she had the seasonal flu mist and would have to reschedule, they said they would hold onto her mist for her apt. because I did wait 40 mins for this one. Her new apt was on a Mon., the Friday before it we get a answer machine message that they are cancelling her apt. for Mon. due to no mist. So here I am, they messed up twice and I cannot even get through to talk to anyone to see if it was an oversight and they did not realize they were (hopefully), saving her a mist with her name. Reallt really poor, I may switch doctors. I'm soo mad right now.

Pros: Doc's are very friendly

Cons: Everything else

I think this Office is better then most in Noriwch, But I agree with Olga J.'s comment. My Daughter had to go there just the other day for an unexplained high fever of 104.7 Maybe it isn't a big deal to some.. but it was very much to me for her to have a fever like that out of no where. Tylenol or Motrin would not bring it down, I would put her in the tub, but it would only help for a short period of time, So I finally called to take her to be seen and Dr.Sullivan told me things I already tried on her and When my husband asked at what point should we take her to the hospital due to her fever he said. A fever wont hurt her. So when I have heard of children and Adults getting brain damage or dying from over heating by fevers. I was amazed to find out that "its not a big deal" The next time she has a high fever I'll just take her to the ER at least they would run tests to find out why she might have this fever.

My girlfriend had a negative experience with nurse Burke-Roberts. She was authoritative, condescending and abrupt during the examination of her daughter. The tone of the interaction was judgemental rather than cooperative, and my girlfriend left feeling hurt as a result. People in need of help appreciate some basic respect, and this nurse offered little of that. Choose someone else when visiting this facility.

The doctors are the BEST! They really care about your child!
The nurses are great and always help you with your problem!
Fit you in same day if you need to be seen.
Only con... you may have to call a few times to get through, but it is so worth it!

I thought the medical staff here was excellent. The front desk on the other hand is a complete disaster! If I call, and actually get through, they hang up on me half the time. They are in no way polite. I may leave this pediatrician for this reason. I love the medical staff but enough is enough! They are short with parents, seem to not care one bit about you or your child, and are just plain unpleasant. I don't think its in any way acceptable for a front desk staff to be so horrible- especially in front of children!

Pros: Great doctors and nurses

Cons: Awful front desk staff

As others have said, sometimes the front desk can be difficult but that is just a minor annoyance for an otherwise great office.
The nurses really care and take their time with the children, especially for vaccinations and scary procedures. Dr. Sullivan is a fantastic doctor. He has treated my asthmatic preteen since he was a small child. It is a comfort to know that he always finds the time to fit us in and is fantastic about finding treatments that really work.

We had a rather unpleasant experience with this office. Long time in the waiting room, nurses?? unethical behavior, lack of flexibility and willingness to listen and work with parents to find the best ways to help kids with serious health issues. Very rigid and unwilling to discuss issues; difficult to get adequate explanations. Not working on educating parents. No individual approach to kids. Perhaps, too big practice, too many kids and not enough time. The doctors and nurses just don??t seem to care much? General impression is that this group is probably OK if you have an average child without serious issues but I would certainly NOT recommend them to families with ??challenging?? kids.

I love Dr. Sullivan and my kids do too. I HATE HATE HATE calling and making an appointment because the front desk is TERRIBLE!! They are so rude and short and very unprofessional. There is a nurse Carrie that is A DOLL! I wish I could get both of these people every time!! I have left once due to this problem and came back because of Dr. Sullivan. I KNOW he genuinely loves my kids.

Hard to get thru on the phone to get an appointment. Very long waiting room time. Usually full waiting room. Drs are OK and just seem to be doing their job.
