Reviews for Headliners Salon & Spa

Ratings_icons Go anywhere but here...Poor quality....Waste of money...

I have tried many different salons in the area and will not go back to Headliners. The staff is very snobby and some are rude. My color and cut were both uneven and no where close to being worth the money they charge for their services. My 26 year old daughter went and also came out with an uneven cut and uneven highlights.
My 24 year old son had his hair cut and styled, and unfortunately his stylist paid no attention whatsoever to what he asked for (and
he even showed her a picture). Three strikes and Headliners is OUT!
They think very highly of themselves, and have the prices to prove it, but you can get better anywhere else! Go anywhere but here!

Ratings_icons Terrible Technique by Stylists

Anonymous

Although I'm extremely loyal to my own hair stylist for colors/cuts I travel weekly and visit various salon's in cities all over the country. The only service I request is a blow out from an unfamiliar stylist. I have tried this salon 3 times this summer (June-August 2007) and I've yet to walk out with a blow dry that would be considered accomplished. Typically I have to attend a work function and am heading directly to the airport but only once out of my three visits did I not have to immediately have my hair done again (prior to attending the function). I've even seen one of their "senior stylists" twice and a blow dry is a basic request. This salon just doesn't seem to offer a consistent or quality product and I would not recommend it to anyone (especially if you've truly experienced a great stylist before). I've been to hundreds of salons nationwide and this tops the worst list.:) I wish I had something more positive to say as now I need to find another salon when I'm in Eastern Ct.

Ratings_icons Don't waste your money

I got good service the first time that I was there, one would hope after paying $60.00 for a color and $55.00 for a cut.

The second time I was there I went to an associate at a lower rank to save some money, paid $35 or $40 dollars and walked out with an uneven cut.

The third time I went back to the "master designer" so I would be satisfied with my hair, only to have an assistant mix and apply the color while the master designer was cutting someone elses hair. I walked out with just a root touch up costing me $55. The color was not blended in w/ the rest of my hair therefor leaving my roots darker than the rest of my hair, and again, I was allowed to walk out of the salon like that.

If you are very particular about your hair and want nothing but the best, DO NOT GO TO HEADLINERS!!!!!! I had better prices and outcomes from places that cost less.

Ratings_icons snotty

alyssa c.

The staff was snotty, I came in there asking about services and they treated me I didnt know a darn thing . Im a Licensed Care Therapist of sixteen years and I know how to treat clients with respect. Not to mention I found out that the state has no License for skin care, nails or waxing, if your going to be in this field go to school and get educated

Ratings_icons One of the best hair experiences!

Bette P. | insider Insider | Rank: 13,738

I love this salon! They have two sides - one for hair and the other is a spa. The hair side is wonderful! The staff is friendly and prompt. The waiting area is comfortable and well stocked with plenty of magazines, but there is usually minimal wait time. The stylists are knowledgeable and friendly.

Parking is difficult on the first trip, as you have to drive up the hill to the rear entrance of the building and park in that lot, and not the one at the bottom of the hill, as one would expect.
