I went there last year and didn't want to write a review until I had time to test out my new exhaust system. It still purrs like a kitten.
Back in 2007, I was having "issues" with my exhaust system. I was losing power, it was very noisy, and it was probably polluting the planet. So I took it to a local shop who quoted me at $800+ for a total exhaust system replacement. Another shop quoted me a similar amount. I remembered this place from their funny commercials back in 1999 ("We are the best in towwwwn"), so I figured I'd give it a shot. I had a very reasonable quote from them once before and instead paid the extra $100+ to get it done at Firestone on the Fairfield/Bridgeport line - big mistake. YDM was able to do the whole job for about $300+/-, saying the entire exhaust system didn't need replacing, just part of it. He was also able to do it in under an hour. I would absolutely go back - and I live two and a ? hours away!
On another note, the owner is very, very nice. He's Vietnamese, and won't hesitate to tell you about his children. It's not the greatest part of Bridgeport, but if you ever need muffler/exhaust repair/replacement look no further. They are the best b@ng for your buck around.
