I have asked these folks back again and again to work on my seventy-year-old home, which needs the inevitable regular attention. They have done flood damage, window replacement, porch repair and replacement, and always been nothing but the best. I wish I had asked them to do the first major remodeling job I did many years ago, but I've lived to regret the choice I made of another well-known but far less competent or courteous local firm, and have the fullest confidenct in Yankee Remodeler. I would not call anyone else.

I would not use the services of this business, because of the attitude they gave me when they were working on my neighbors house. In fact when I had to have major construction done on my own house I specifically asked my agent that this company not be involved in even giving a bid.
I don't think they were thinking about neighbor relations, or future service sales when this happened. While working on my neighbors house they parked a very large heavy truck in the front of my yard. It was spring so the ground was wet and grass was easily able to damage. I politely went out and asked them to move the truck off from my grass. Now the problem with having grass damaged on my property besides aestetics is that there is lead in the soil from the years and years that a previous owner thought it was a good idea to paint with lead paint. The employees of this company did not even give me a chance to explain my reason for not wanting the truck on my grass, but instead giving me an attitude about so much square footage of everyone's yard being city property. This may be the law, I don't know, but being rude about it was not the right way to deal with anyone whether I was a customer at the time or not. After a bit of back and forth they did move the truck, but not before they yelled at me and called me a name.
I did not know my neighbors very well at the time this incident happened. Thank goodness that the fence is mended between my neighbors and I, and we have since became freinds and even I trust them with my children on occasion. At the time though, I think my neighbors might have belived I was the name that the workers had called me.

PROS:
CONS: Rude to neighbors
