.

I moved back to Ohio about 18 years ago. Everytime we go back to visit family in Connecticut the plans are already made to take time to go to The Arizona.

The first time you drive up you are on a main st in Stafford, CT. It is in a long row of old buildings. This is a very small town. They actually only had one stop light when I lived there! You enter a very dark bar/dining room with the bar on the side.

The minute you walk in you are hit with the most amazing smells you will experience for a while. Order Teresa's Veal Parmasan and Cheese Ravioli - Heavenly.

I have tried many restaurants in Ohio - none compare to The Arizona in my book. I have family in Stafford who still go there and call me to GLOAT. I know have them begging for recipes, as the owner is retiring.

You might have to wait a few minutes - especially on the weekends. But sit down at the bar and enjoy the atmosphere and the smells. I don't think you will be disappointed
