Today, I had the pleasure of meeting the most wonderful esthetician, her name is Suna and she is a terrific addition to the Adam Broderick staff! I went in for an "eyebrow intervention" not really knowing what I needed and Suma patiently listened and then in the kindest voice, she was able to recommend exactly what I needed, which was different than what I thought I needed. I so appreciated her expertise, advice and honesty. Suna is so professional, and gives such attention to detail in her own immaculate manner. Suna possesses a rare gift, which is felt in her "essence", making for a more special salon experience. Taking a moment to write this, because sometimes exceptional service can go unrecognized. Thank you Suna, I will be back!

I have been a client of ABSS for about 6 years. I was happy at first, but with each visit they seem to do a sloppier job. I am usually getting highlights and haircut , but for the past 3-4 times they do a terrible job. I've been dealing with the same person, who is very much apreciated ( you need at least 2 weeks to get an appointment with her ), but because she is so busy she books too many customers and then she is rushing. For the last few times i have asked her to put a little more foils , but she didn't. When i leave there it does not look that i had something done. And in 2-3 weeks my hair looks terrible ( the color fades, turns orangy, brassy..). . And i am using only kerastase products .
I have another appointment tomorrow, and i think this is the last chance. most of the stylists are vey nice and friendly, but there are few at the front desk who are just terrible...they don't even know how to smile...and they are rude.
Overall, in the last year i was dissapointed by their services ( not to mentioned that i asked for my "birthday gift" 2 days before my birthday and they said i have to wait till i receive an email, and couldnt do anything about it. And i never got that email..

This review is for the Nail Spa, although I have had other services (haircut, facial, wax) at Adam Broderick and have been very satisfied.

Having had pedicures at Adam Broderick, I hold all my pedicures to an AB standard and have found that other "elite" spas (example: Rittenhouse in Philadelphia, Bliss in NYC) cannot meet them! Though some might find the prices of an AB pedicure high, I really think you get your money's worth and that they are comparable to (or less than!) the price at other high end spas. First of all, Adam Broderick carries high end nail polishes, which are completely free of the toxins that other popular nail polishes carry, in a great variety of colors. The nail technicians also pay very careful attention to a client's wishes and are extremely meticulous about the pedicures they give. They are also incredibly careful not to hurt you or damage your cuticles / nail beds, which is extremely important. I think my favorite part of AB pedicures is the gel the technicians use to remove callouses. My feet are unbelievably soft after they get buffed and as someone who runs and walks a ton around the city - this is something I really value! I have yet to see this gel at any other spa too. Also, their hot stone massages are amazing. I recently had a "hot stone pedicure" at another spa and paid $70 for there to just be two hot stones in the bath for my feet. What a joke. But that's not what they do at AB! Thank you for giving great services AB!

Where else can you get a full head of highlights, a haircut, and a blow dry with less than 24 hours notice by calling or making your appointment online? And by making your appointment online, you can also receive a discount if the appointment you make is within a certain time period! That is especially useful to me as I juggle a fulltime job, a family of five, and all the other fun stuff life keeps us busy with. I never know when I will get a free two hour time block. Also, exciting and inspiring is the boutique that you can shop in when you walk through the doors - very trendy and current having everything from flip flops to eyeglasses! Fun, fun, fun!

I see Everson, colorist and hair stylist, at Adam Broderick and wanted to comment on the service that HE provides. I have red hair and have received services from many providers with variable results. Everson by far is the most professional provider that I have ever met; with results that are consistent for all the years that I have been with him. I always come for color and a cut; his color is natural and his cut is creative. Even my young adult children love his work. Always a fresh look and most important, it grows out beautifully. I have been patronizing the Adam Broderick Salon & Spa for probably 10 years. I have had facials, massages, manicures and haircuts and have always been impressed by their service. Their prices remain competitive so that now my two children also get their haircut there by Daisy. I am very faithful to my stylist, Marcia. She always goes out of her way to make sure I'm taking the most of my "kid free" time - between cups of warm tea, loooong head massages while my hair is washed and a peaceful 10 minutes sitting under the dryer. I am quick to refer my friends to the salon - a rare gem!

Been visiting the Adam Broderick Salon & Spa since the day it opened. The experience is always a calming, lovely two-hour break from the everyday world! Between the warm towels, the head massage, the offer of coffee, tea, lemon water and the general relaxation areas while my hair "cooks", I can't say enough about the service there. Staff members are always polite and helpful. Spa services are wonderful......jewelry and soap collections make wonderful gifts. I can't say enough good things!

This place is a joke ... beginning with rude staff (little girls who are extremely unprofessional) at the front desk. I have had several hair cuts at AB along with color processing & highlites usually at a cost of $264 for an appt. PRICEY ... ya think !! Some of the stylists are better than others, they come & go quickly. They tell you there are levels of expertise that you are paying for & that's soooooo not true. I saw no difference at all. My latest & now last trip 3 weeks ago ended in fried over processed highlites. My current stylist had a family emergency & was not available for my appt. so they recommended someone else & said everything was written down so there could be no errors ... yeah right with the exception of the high intensity developer she must have used which certainly gave me blonde highlites fried, brassy & all. My hair usually took a good bit of time to process, but this chic did the job in under an hr. for a full color & highlites. When I called to say I had a problem they simply told me I waited too long to call ... meanwhile I had been sleeping with extreme hair conditioner for 2 weeks & had not wanted to make waves but then my daughter who also spends a fortune at AB talked me into calling to complain. The young lady who answered my call had no clue how to handle the call ... kept me on hold forever & came back with a sorry we can't help you! SERIOUSLY are you kidding me... I would have been quite happy with a discount on my next service but they did not even want to offer anything to make up for my now fried hair, nor my dissatisfaction with their services !! Time for a new salon where they actually care about the clients & the business they are in. Honestly I can't believe its taken me this long. Too expensive; too arrogant; and just hit & miss services. Save your time & money & find a real salon.

I am a regular customer who loves the services that Neia provides. Unfortunatly there was a miscommunication with booking my appointment with Christine who booked me for a wrong service. I found this out when I checked in at the front desk and was told by Alice that I was only scheduled for a brow wax instead of my brazilian and brow. She then proceeded to smile and nod her head irritating and belittling my situation! What kind of customer service is this person trying to provide, I strongly suggest that she find a diffrent line of work that does not entail working with the public! I am a regular customer who loves the services that Neia provides. Unfortunatly there was a miscommunication with booking my appointment with Christine who booked me for a wrong service. I found this out when I checked in at the front desk and was told by Alice that I was only scheduled for a brow wax instead of my brazilian and brow. She then proceeded to smile and nod her head irritating and belittling my situation! What kind of customer service is this person trying to provide, I strongly suggest that she find a diffrent line of work that does not entail working with the public! If it was not for Neia and her exceptional service I would not be returning and will certaintly wait in line before dealing with Alice once again. I hope the salon takes note and deals with these inferior employees who are not up to Adam Broderick normal standards.

I have tried many different salons & spas in Fairfield and Westchester Counties and the Adam Broderick Salon & Spa is by far the best in show! I usually am very confident in adam brodericks to do a good job with my hair. so for a wedding i made a reservation with a specific person, and then a week before the wedding they called to say she was unavailable. i then was switched to someone else. she did a HORRIBLE job on my hair. i asked for something very simple with my hair and had very few requests. she then did her OWN thing, and COVERED my hair with hairspray. it felt like the whole bottle! my hair felt like a helmet and looked like a rats nest..and seeing as i have PIN STRAIGHT hair, i dont understand how that is possible. my hair looked absolutely terrible. my apt. was booked for an hour, she spent about 25 minutes. I could have done a much better job myself. i went home and combed out what she had done. Minus the fact that she did an aboslutely disgusting job with my hair, she was RUDE. I will seriously never, ever go there again. maybe for a trim. but to depend on them for an updo or anything else is a risk. PLUS, i paid 90 bucks for it! They are a rip off who just lean on the fact that they have a well known name. NEVER go to Adam brodericks and if you do, do NOT go to SOOKI.

The best experience I've had getting my children's haircut since they have been having their hair cut! I have been ALL over Fairfield County....from Greenwich to Southport and in between, simply wanting a good cut and friendly service. Many years ago, I went to the Ridgefield salon for a cut with a stylist who was the brother of my friend. I walked out with great looking hair but, at the time, the cost was way out of my early 20's budget for regular hair maintenance so, that was my only AB experience in Ridgefield. Skip forward many years and I now visit the Southbury location regularly. Sergio is my stylist and colorist. I have always walked out feeling gorgeous when he is through with me! Yes, it is a pricey salon and when people spend big money on a cut and color, they want to feel as if they are in a high-end salon, not a $10 per cut, chain salon. Giving the sense of a high-end salon is not "smoke and mirrors" or attitude as one reviewer wrote. I also never found the front desk to be snooty or putting on airs as many have reported. I guess, in life, you get back the vibe that you give off. I have never walked in without wearing my smile and co-incidentally have never been greeted and processed without a smile from the staff at the front desk. Weird how that works, huh? Give it a try some time.
I had the unfortunate experience of receiving the news of my mother's death, immediately after having a full head of color applied. I was at the waiting table in the back, with my color processing, when I got the dreaded call on my cell. Within a minute, everyone there basically knew what had happened and many approached me to see what type of help or kindness they could offer. Much of that morning is a blur to me but I will never forget the compassion Sergio and the entire staff showed to me that morning. I even received a stunning bouquet of flowers at my home the next day. What other salon would be so considerate to do that? Probably not many.
I think sometimes people expect their stylist and colorist to be magicians or mind readers. If you don't know what you want or choose something inappropriate for your age and hair type, you will receive bad results. If a stylist refuses your inappropriate requests, as one reviewer suggested they should, based on your hair's condition or type, then you would complain about that as well. For many stylists, there is no way to win with some clients. Many clients destroy their own hair then expect a miracle treatment or cut to restore it, or they expect their salon visit to transform them from a "4" to a "9". Ain't gonna happen folks.
Lastly, to the reviewer who felt it necessary to make cruel remarks regarding the physical presentation of some of the stylists by saying they needed a good nights sleep, among more insulting recommendations, I want to remind you that it is possible to review a business with honesty and constructive criticism if your experience wasn't all positive, without resorting to character and personality attacks of their staff individuals. I believe you and people like you are so ugly on the inside that no salon in the world is going to be able to help you on the outside. You would be better off at a chain salon in the mall.

My experience at Adam and Broderick was an absolute good one. The first thing that caught my eye was how they had a daycare for my children while I got my hair done. The second thing was the massage that was given to my scalp before the haircut which was a real treat. But to me the most important thing about a hair salon is a having a person that posses such skill, talent and passion for their craft. The lady who did my hair was by the name of Raven. She did an excellent job. I told her what I wanted and she did it to her fullest potential. Everyone that saw my hair LOVED it! She did such a good job that when i would blow dry my own hair it always came out the same way it did at the salon that day. And please note my hair is very thick and had have been getting it done in Salon's for years and never had this kind of result. Just remember its not the Salon that can give you a great haircut and style but its the actual hairdresser that posses the skill to do so!!!!!!!!!

Attitude is the word everyone is using and I experienced that first hand last weekend. I booked an appointment for a wedding I was in and I told them I had to leave by 2pm, I didn't walk out of there until 3:15. They were rude, overpriced and most had no experience what so ever. My highlights looked like the came from the 1950's- over bleached with a weird green hugh...The curls were awful. I paid well over 250 dollars for all the services and was NOT WORTH IT. I would HIGHLY RECOMMEND YOU GO SOMEWHERE ELSE!

I have been to ab of several occassions for color, cut, manicures and pedicures at both locations. I have curly hair so the universal haircut they give eveyone just did not work for me. Problem was that is the only haircut they know how to do? I thought the front desk was indifferent at best, not cordial, not accomodating. The pedicure when they first opened in Southbury was done by several people. I guess this was some cost effective idea to keep people busy but duh, part of the experience of having these services is to chat with the manicurist or other service provider. I never went back.
