I stopped by Jumpin' Beans Day School this weekend and found that the owners were there working very hard and totally enjoying being there. The day care center looked great. New carpeting, new toys for all the children, clean and being repainted. They are located right off the Merrit Parkway exit 66 - easy on and off access. I am bringing my baby there when he/she is born. The owners Joe and JoAnn Holstein showed that they really love their day care center and are starting there 20th year in the business. STOP BY AND MEET THE HOLSTEINS AND THEIR DEDICATED STAFF.

For my first child I was considering for a long time to just stop working and stay home with her on my own, thinking no one could love her like I could but I was wrong. It was one of the greater decisions on my part to bring my child to Jumpin' Beans and the fact that all of the staff there was able to show not only my child but the other children the love that I would give them on my own. It was nice to see that she would come home happy and also be able to learn things while being there. As another review stated, if i were to run out of necessary supplies they would provide backup and remind me a few days before I had run out what was needed. Quicker then I had expected she had come home potty trained and completely understanding the meaning of the love for her, getting it from all areas while I was still able to make a living. It was nice that I was able to be able to work and be confident in the fact that my child was getting the love she deserved and knowing she was making friends there in the welcoming, 'homey' feeling enviroment. A good decision not only for now, but to start your child off on the right path to become a truly good person.

I had a warm experience from the staff at Jumpin' Beans Day School. When you talked to the staff and saw how happy the children were it was definitely the place I wanted to send my child. Their educational program was more than I expected my child to learn at a Day Care Center.I would definitely recommend Jumpin' Beans for your child/children. There prices are below what other Centers were and they did so much more than others. Jackie

I can't believe the reviews I have just read! Two of my children pretty much grew up there. The Director may seem laid back to a person who doesn't realize that her business requires her to have a calmness about her as to not project stress on to the children, but make no mistake in her drive and commitment to all of our children if any need ever arose you can bet your last dollar she'll be on the front line with fire in her eyes for our children. My daughter started school well ahead academically thanks to the focus on learning given by the student employees that work there. I am proud of the Fresh new study habits that my kids learn early from this gen. Picking up your kids dirty and hungry! You've got to be kidding me!I always enjoyed the fact that when I would pick up the kids they would offer to change them before leave (I never did like dirty diapers). If ever a moment came up that the supplies which I am required to provide ran out I would get a note and phone call normally a few days ahead. Any ways they have back up supplies.I can write all day about how wonderful this place is and how fast they responded to anything concerning my children even after they have moved on to school. I would recommend this school to everyone. The best tip I could give is to go with your gut feelings, don't just interview the staff while your there watch the kids, look at their smiles and social behaviors. I certain you would then choose Jumpin Beans above the rest.

Shocked by reviews?have spend many of my lunch hours at the daycare with my daughter and the staff was happy to greet me. Friendly and polite staff works well with children. They are wonderful with helping a parent to feel comfortable with leaving their child somewhere that will love and treat them all well. This is my second child to attend the center and would not go anywhere else. Excellent educational program to top it all off.

Interviewed with the school 2x. All the staff was friendly and knowlegable....or so I thought. They were good actors. Three quaters of the "teachers" are teenage girls with little training. Many times I picked up the little one hungry and with a dirty diaper. Was witness to many things like rough handling of the children, children forced to take naps, babies left in baby swing for hours or propped up in excersaucer with pillows and the older kids were made to pray before eating lunch. Director is only available for half the day, quick to dismiss complaints and extremely laid back.

School has open door policy but was unhappy when I would stop in to check on my child.

This school was awful. I went and observed there to decide if it was the place to be. THe kids are like little soldiers, its dark and gloomy inside. They have a large room that they just divide off with toys and other odd items. I didnt think the director had much common sense either, I felt like I was speaking to a child while talkign to her. Definitely not a place I'd ever sent my child.

PROS:
CONS: Gloomy, Unknowledgable
