Scribners is off the beaten path in the Woodmont section of Milford. It was highly recommended, and I thought it was good but not great. First, we had to park blocks away from the entrance. The parking lot is undersized for the number of tables they have. Upon entering, I realized this is a very mature restaurant, from the clientele to the furnishings, there was a lot that was, well , old there. The wine list was quite complete with average pricing on most selections. The menu features mainly seafood, but does have a variety of other dishes. The food was fresh, and well prepared but lacked any imagination. The staff was warm and attentive. The prices were about $100 per couple with a drink, appetizer, meal, coffee and dessert for each person. I can think of places I like better for the money.

we went here on Valentines day last years. The place looked so pretty. candle light.The food was very good.The only thing is its tight. I like room around me.But everyone I talk to loves it here too.Price is ok.a little high but worth it
