They treat my pet like he is one of their own here. Everyone is very professional and courteous. I would highly recommend Glastonbury Veterinary Hospital to any pet owner.

I needed my dog to be seen by someone, and they got him an appointment the same day! Not only were they able to fit us in their busy schedule, they did an immediate procedure.

When I first started going there the staff was wonderful... However, things have drastically changed.
I had an open account with these people and always paid on time, the agreed amount. There was never a moment where there was any problem of any kind, either between me and the medical staff or the billing department.
One day, I called the vet because my last leukemic cat, was showing signs that the leukemia was catching up with her. I wanted to bring her to the vet in hopes of making her more confortable. Half an hour later, I called again and asked if an other cat of mine, who doesn't have the virus, could come in and get her shot as well. For a second time I was told not a problem.I blew off the shots clinic @ the humane society because I figured I was going to my vet, and to just get both done at the same time.
I packaged up 2 hysterical cats and drove them 10 miles to see this vet. When I got there, Robin, and her snob co worker in formed me that my credit was cut and I had to pay COD. I asked why, and was told "policy change", and nothing more.
Since I only had 3 dollars in my bank account at that moment, and no checks to write, (I understood they would hold a check for 2 weeks) the cats went back in the car and I left. Later that same day I asked for my records. I was told I would get them.

One week later, no records. I called and asked when the records were coming. At this point I was told I owed .55 cents a page(<1 year in records $$), and they could charge that, and there was nothing I could do about it. Several times I was hung up on becase "they didn't like my attitude".

Then the cop called, to tell me not to goto the facility.

I am still waiting to find out what I did that started all of this?? I never asked for anything for free and always payed, as agreed on time.

To anyone looking for a vet- stay away from Glastonbury vet on Pratt street- their always empty waiting room and their desire to extort money tells me this is a business that won't be around for long. Add to that policy changes that they can't won't/don'tinform clients about, and do you really want to trust the health of your animal to these people?

You have been warned.
