Love, love, love Happy Time School! The director and teachers are marvelous! The atmosphere is warm and nurturing. Friends of ours suggested we look at Happy Time when we were looking at preschools and we are so grateful for their suggestion. My children love going to school. My son is now finishing his third year there and my daughter her first. I am sad that my son will no longer be attending Happy Time, as he will be entering elementary school next year, but look forward to the next few years there with my daughter.

My son has attended the "3s", "4"s and pre-K program and is now enrolled in the kindergarten enrichment program. I LOVE this school. The director and teacher are fabulous and have been wonderfully attentive and supportive to any issues my child has had. The rooms are small and the children are encouraged to choose activities and rotate through different activities. I love that they go outside almost every day. My daughter will be starting there next year. Wonderful program, teachers, and director.

Happy Time has been the most wonderful preschool for both my children. My girls have participated in every program they offer and have had almost all the teachers at some point, and we have always been pleased. The teachers and director have taught them so much and have always treated them with care and respect. I decided to go back to work full time because I was so happy with Happy Time and knew that my girls would be in good hands. I highly, highly recommend this school.

They are the worst school ever in Cheshire. They encourage rudeness, harassment and bullying. The teachers and the owner/director are the rudest of all. My little son was bullied everyday and the teacher would laugh at my son along with the other bullies to a point that my son hated that school. The director and the teacher encouraged bullying and did absolutely nothing about it. They practically told me it is fun to watch kids being bullied and if you don??t like it leave!!!!
They are horrible.

Very rud staff and director. Abusive people who don't care about the kids safety and make little kids pick up and stack up their heavy chairs at the end each day, doing the teachers work, in the kindergarden class. When I made a complaint that the chairs are heavy and may fall on the kids feet and hurt them, the teacher said this is how they operate, take it or leave it. They should be reported to DCF for abusing the little kids and making them do the teachers' jobs. I pulled my child out.

Not a good school. They are ignorant teachers and owner. My child was bullied in the school and the teacher and owner/director encouraged it as they did not deal with the problem at all and made a hell out of there for my little daughter, picking on her all the time and eventually I had to pull my daughter out of that horrible place in the middle of the school year.

My daughter absolutely loved the time she spent at Happy Times. I found the teachers to be very caring and loving towards her. The director and teachers always took the time to greet us each morning and update me on how my daughter was doing. I was very comfortable leaving my child at the school. I knew she would be safe. I found that she developed her social, counting and art skills. I liked the fact that the school held events for parents and their child to attend - such as parent nights and an art show (which blew my husband and I away). The only con I would say is that the school's schedule does not work for full time working parents unless you have someone that can help you with drop off and pick up. They do not offer extended care hours.

Both of my two children attended Happy Times School. Prior to enrolling them, we compared the other schools in town. In the end, we made our decision to go with Happy Times.

My daughter was the first to attend. She had a food allergy, so I had to be very careful about what she ate. The teachers could not have been better about this. Every day I was shown the food that was being served.

The group of teachers they have there is amazing. Most of them have many years experience and several of them have been with this school from the beginning. In my opinion, they have it all at Happy Times. They have the perfect balance of nurturing and compassion, while still providing a wonderful curriculum for this age group.

After hearing much talk about how great the program at Happy Time School was, I was very anxious to see for myself what made this program so great. I had interviewed many pre-school programs and was having a hard time finding a program that was not too structured, and involved learning while still fostering my childs creativity. To add to this criteria, I had a child whos speech was very hard to understand and this hindered her socially. It was important to me that the program I chose be very sensitive to this. I visited Happy Time School to see the program between sessions. The director instantly encouraged me and my daughter to take a look around at the classrooms and meet the teachers. One of the teachers lowered herself to my daughters level and asked her some questions. I was immediately impressed with her comforting nature and the time she took to understand my daughter. I learned that even though there is often a waiting list to attend this program, the director prefers to keep the class sizes small and the student to teacher ratio low. I had such a great feeling about the school that I signed my daughter up for the 3s program. Two children later, I am sad to say that I am finishing my fourth year at Happy Time School. The teachers in this program work as a team and encourage the children to learn and try new things without pressuring them. My children knew that they were loved and respected. Due to the patience and caring of the teachers, my children flourished, socially and emotionally . I have the greatest respect for this program and would strongly suggest it everyone.

PROS: Low student to teacher ratio, Great balance of structure, learning and fun.
CONS:
