Obnoxious paint job aside, is place has some really amazing food. My absolute favorite dish is their drunken noodle, which is spicy by nature but they can change that if you like. Chicken satay is great too, as well as their great Thai desert menu.

My only problems with this place is the quality of the food from dish to dish. Its not uncommon for several people to go there and 2 to have the best Thai food ever while the rest have some of the blandest and watery food they've ever tasted. Pad Thai is especially watery. The sauce doesn't stick to half of their food... Almost like the steamed stuff was dipped into it before serving, lol. Not sure how else to describe it.

However if you find a dish you like (that drunken noodle is amazing!) then you can count on them delivering the same quality every time you order it. Once we found their specialties, my husband and I haven't been disappointed in years.

Pros: free parking, fast delivery, they will customize anything

Cons: Some basic Thai dishes are pretty gross

My favourite Thai restaurant in the area. The food is authentic and delicious. The lunch specials are an excellent value. The atmosphere isn't 5 star, but its comfortable and the service is good. I could eat their Pad Thai and Drunken Noodles every week and never get tired of it.

I like the food....don't like the place. I've eaten at Kit's 3 times in the last year. All three times I had a good meal...but the place...it's just not warm and inviting. It was also boiling in there..uncomfortably hot. So, I would recommend take-out over dining in. Either way, you won't be disappointed by the food....and the price.

This is also my favorite Thai place in Stamford. Portions are huge. Definitely will have to take home leftovers. We like their som tum (papaya) and some of their fried rices are really good. I like the pad woo seen. If you get the pad thai, tell them to not make it too sweet or else it's not so good. I really like their drunken noodle but it's too spicy for me. I love their peanut sauce and I'm willing to pony up the extra 50 cents for it. Crystal rolls are good too. Staff is always nice to us. I like that they expanded their place so it isn't so crowded. I think their prices are good for the portions they give. My fiance says their lunch specials are good too. I also love the corn and tapioca dessert even though it's a little pricey.

This is by far my favorite Thai food in Stamford. With a nice range of menu items and everything being delicious and clean I would definitely recommend it! Dining outside is pretty nice in the summer, and while the restaurant is adorable, it's pretty small.

They say what goes up must come down. Initial success of Kit's Thai Kitchen didn't prove to be long lasting. Consistently plunging quality of food and service has finally exceeded my pain threshold. Food that is lacking in flavor and simultaneously combining parts that are overcooked and parts that are undercooked, being served by inexperienced unresponsive staff is hardly worth the wait, which you are certain to endure. But don't even try to bring any of this to the attention of the manager, when I did, I got yelled at and had my food tossed around in front of my face, I am guessing, in attempt to showcase it's superior quality.

Pros: Parking, inexpensive, not bad decor

Cons: Food quality is inconsistent, waters unresponsive, management rude and offensive

I love Kit's. I come here at leat twice a month and have never been disapointed. The food is fresh and consistantly good. I bring all of my out of town friends here and they always love it. There are only a few tables, so sometimes you have to get it for takeout, but I don't mind.

Pros: Best Thai Food

Cons: maybe just lack of tables
