staff are pleasant and nice, but apparently they did not dry my nails enough (even though i sat at the drier for about 30 minutes) because as soon as i put on my shoes, two of my toes smudged.

Palm Nail does a very nice job for a competitive price. They are conveniently located and the staff is friendly. They are usually busy and don't always spend as much time with you as you'd like, but the shop is clean.
