Great restaurant great food and a great calming atmosphere. the owners are awesome and very accommodating. Pricing? I thought it was very very reasonable and we were a party of 6. I have told about them to many of my friends and family.

My family loves this restaurant. It had fast friendly service,great food, reasonable prices and a nice atmosphere. I would highly recommend trying it.

My first time there and I was pleased with everything.Steaks are out of this world and a very nice beer selection.Service was also great,I will be going back for sure.

I've turned on a lot of friends and family to the cuisine of Zantos, sometimes its a little more expensive, but you get what you pay for indeed! I have never been unsatisfied and the owner and workers are pleasant to deal with!!! I love 'em, and certainly can't wait to go back for their greek salas and tomatoe basil pizza, mmm... yum yum!!

I have gone here a few times and NEVER have I been happy with the food. It has always taken a long time to get and the atmosphere is not the best. The food is also expensive.

When Zantos originally opened several years ago, run by two young guys from Southwick, the food was pretty good and the atmosphere was warm and friendly, and it seemed like a perfect fit for Suffield. A place you could really enjoy going....until they turned the TV on. It was all down hill from there.
It's gone through several owners and is now sadly lacking in many areas. Though the food can be pretty good at times, it's nothing special and it's very expensive .
The atmosphere is often cool and not welcoming. The TV blaring in the background doesn't help.

Recent visit for LUNCH revealed there are no lunch menu items. Sitting in a place that charges such high prices for avaerge food and CNN blasting on an overhead TV. !!
Anything you want ( Alfredo sauce, a different type of pasta, etc is EXTRA) the waitress answered every request with "that will be extra"

After years of different restaurants in this location, Zantos has finally made it work. They offer a nice Italian menu at good prices with a relaxed and open atmosphere. It is owned and operaed by 2 SA alumni who are usually there in the evenings. I recomend the calzones and the pizzas. The full dining menu is also available for take out.

PROS: Good food, family owned and operated
CONS: Some prices are steep, but reasonable in general.
