I was shopping for a Honda Element and saw their add on Auto Trader. I submitted an offer on their Honda and 4 others at diffrent dealers. Here is the response I received from the owner." hey ellsworth are you a clown in the circus..... ha!!!ha!!!ha!!!!" I'm in the service business and would never respond to a perspective client in that manner. The owner is obviously under a lot of pressure or he doesn't buy his Autos at a wholesale price.I informed Mr. Horowitz I had indeed purchased the exact model Honda with a 1000 less miles for $15,500.Maybe he should sharpen his customer and buying skills up instead of CLOWNING AROUND!!!

We were very disappointed with the lack of sincerity and outcome when dealing with this dealership. From the start we felt as if they had no interest in selling vehicles at all. Once we learned that they don't finance through their company we pursued through our credit union. Multiple faxes and phone calls were exchanged confirming that we were in the process of getting the loan and still interested in the vehicle. This all took place within 48 hours. We had our bank and insurance people working hard to complete the forms while keeping in touch with "Jack" letting him know the process. Once everything was complete Jack informed us that the truck was no longer for sale. He stated that someone had come and purchased the vehicle from underneath us. The words he used were "no green no machine". Now I can respect that if we were taking a long time to complete the transaction or if we had a hard time getting the loan then he's got to move on but we were on track to getting the vehicle. Just the fact that he completely disregarded or efforts to purchase this vehicle is bad business. From the beginning something in my gut told me that things were not on the up and up with this business. To all people that are thinking of purchasing a car I strongly recommend that you steer clear from this so called auto wholesaler. Their are to many good car wholesalers out there to have to deal with bad business. It is a disrespect to have the word American in their name.

Upon arriving on a Saturday, we had a very pleasant person telling us everything we wanted to hear about a vehicle. We even took it for a test drive and decided we wanted to make a purchase. We asked if we could leave a deposit and talk to our credit union about financing on Monday. We also asked if they would consider taking $400 off the offered price. He agreed so we went inside to talk to someone to work up a deal.
Once inside, this other guy acted like we were almost wasting his time. Told us that we needed to leave a much larger deposit and the price was a 'no haggle' price. He basically sat there and stared at us like we weren't serios buyers and was waiting for us to leave. Although we didn't like his attitude we still very much wanted to buy the vehicle and was even willing to pay full price for it. First thing Monday, we went to our credit union and applied for a loan, got our insurance binder and called the dealership to get the "out of door price" for the bank. We jumped thru hoops for these people, got our loan, faxed them our insurance info the next day and said that we were ready! No later than 5 minutes after faxing our info, we got a call saying that the vehicle was sold and someone was coming to pick it up.
I can understand wanting to make a sale, but from the beginning they acted like they never wanted us to buy this vehicle. Is this a dealership or a front to act like one? Who actually deals with people like this? I'm surprised if anyone actually does buy vehicles from here. Very shysty if you ask me. I think they just buy and sell from auctions and use their lot as a "front". Don't waste your time going here. We did and are sorry we spent a Saturday afternoon there, and two business days wasting our insurance agent and bank's time as well.

We drove a long way to this dealership to see a car. When we got there, the car was in poor condition. The car pulled hard to the right and would not go down the road straight. Many features were broken in the car (which had 37k miles on it.) When asked if they would fix them, they said no. There was an alert in the car that would sound for 5 minutes before turning off. The car smelled like a family of ferrets had lived in it. All exposed metal areas near the floor were rusty.
Their web site states:
"Upon their arrival to our dealership every vehicle is subject to a comprehensive 100 point safety check, performed by a 20 year factory trained master technician."
Maybe this is true, they check the cars. ...but they will not fix anything.
Their web site also states: "The few vehicles that meet our standards are then professionally reconditioned, and presented for sale by a professional, courteous, and knowledgeable sales staff."
Maybe so, but maybe they should also say that "The many vehicles that do not meet our standards are sold anyway without any reconditioning. We buy these vehicles at auction. We get a mix of good cars and losers. We don't resell the losers at auction because no other dealer would buy them after seeing that they were previously sold at auction; instead we will slowly lower the price until the vehicle leaves our lot. "
We rechecked the web and found that the price of our vehicle had been reduced (looked at Google web cache). Looks like they just get vehicles at auction and flip them if they run reasonably. They are not interested in selling quality vehicles. They roll the dice at an auction and resell what they have bought. Just because they roll the dice doesn't mean you should.

I have been to this dealer a few time looking for cars. They are very reliable. I have not had much trouble with cars. They were in great condition when I bought them. Definetly would buy again!!!
