.

I've been going to this store for probably close to 25 years now (its at the point where my kid is going as well, for whatever That's worth....) and I can confidently say the place is still as cool, hip, relevant... whatever you want to call it, thats what it is.

From Incense to Grateful Dead shirts to glass pipes, they've always been the place to stay 'a head', but it seems they're courting the second generation heads as well now, with a Massive skateboard shop inside, which has, in the words of my 14 year old, a 'wicked selection'. I think thats a good thing?

The place always has their trademark 'Nag Champa' incense smell inside, lending to a relaxed atmosphere. The sales people are Very knowledgeable about their product... the guy (Frank, I think?) behind the skate counter seemed to have the entire history of skateboarding memorized, answering every little obscure question my kid had.

Something I really appreciated was how the pipe room was separated from the rest of the store, putting off some awkward questions from the kid for at least another few years... but, man, what a room! : D If you're into that sort of thing, that room is your mecca...

Oh yeah, and they've got about a million other products too.

Highly recommended!!!

Pros: Clean, good parking, good staff, diverse products

Cons: ummm... wish it was bigger?
