    .

I began noticing sore spots all over my cat and one afternoon she just couldn't stop biting at herself. Finally I started calling around after she chewed a bloody spot and no one could see her right away except VCA. My cat was checked by a technician who took us into a room. This is when I found out that even indoor cats can get fleas AND she was having a severe reaction to their bites. I was sent home on several medications and my cat is already doing so much better! I learned a lot about fleas and though I'm still not sure how it happened I am thankful for the kindness and relief they showed my little loved one.

Our Saint Bernard developed Bloat during early morning hours. Our regular vet told us that New London Animal Hospital was on call and to bring him there. We did, and were totally glad that we did. They stabilized him for transport to a larger, more qualified center on the shore. While they did not do the surgery, I believe that they contributed heavily towards saving his life because of their quick and efficient treatment.

Overpriced and constantly asked to bring our cat back in for more vaccinations. We changed vets and were charged one third of the price we were here. Not overly polite or understanding. Wouldn't recommend at all.

Seems as if we were always a number and they were always trying to prescribe extra medications and extra things. They also board dogs and our dog came home with kennel cough because we "supposedly" did not get her vaccinated early enough. I wish they had told us that. So, not only did we have to pay for the vaccine to begin with, but also the room and board and then the medication to treat the kennel cough.
