I took my car for an oil change I also told them their was an odor in the car. They told me VW recommends that the cabin filter be changed every year. I told them to change the cabin filter. the next day I drove my car I felt really sick I called them to ask if any chemicals should be placed in the car. They told me the technician sprayed a chemical on the cabin filter which seems to resides permanently (new car Scent is the name of the chemical) Beware when you take your car there> The technicians seems rather incompetent. My car only has 13000 miles on. Unfortunately I do not have the money to sue them.

The service was excellent but the dashboard temperature gauge that shows the air temperature--not the engine temperature--is about 10 to 15 degrees to high. It was accurate before the service. I'll wait to see if it returns to normal
