Watergate Pastry

I was greeted right when I came in, not just by the folks behind the counter, but with an aroma that encircled and hugged me the entire visit. Mr Obernberger was the owner and I was lucky enough to have spoken with him while making my order, you get the small business feel and a taste of a fine cakes here. I will not go anywhere else, the strawberry shortcake will have me coming here for every major event in my life....and I am even considering making up a few...like, I saw a car drive-by day! Love this place!!

This shop located in Watergate condominium complex put together our friends wedding cake. The cake was a smash hit and our friends are all passing the word to any potential couple we know ready t tie the knot. The cake itself was beautiful, and taste was out of this world. Im not a big fan of cake but I did make an extra 1-2 trips for additional pieces after my first piece because the taste was so moist and flavorful.

This is the bakery my wife and I used for our wedding cake, and it was fantastic. We tried many local bakeries, but this was the best tasting and not outrageously priced. The caterers at the hotel saved the top layer for us thinking wed save it for our 1 year anniversary but we just ate it the next day when we opened the presents. Highly recommend. The cake was also very attractive.

If you want a really fantastic wedding cake, you must try Watergate Pastry, I couldn't believe the taste of their cakes. Our guests raved about the cake and we ate the top layer the next day - it was fantastic! They have a wide variety and the decoration they put on the cake is just gorgeous.

PROS: Delicious, beautiful cakes
CONS: Pricey
