I went in to see if they sold jewelry cleaner. First, they dug around and came up with a cloth to wipe gold jewelry clean. Threw it on the counter and said "$10." I explained that I was actually looking for something to clean my rings. The woman (with another right there eating and gabbing at her in a language I didn't recognize) wandered back to a desk shrouded in signs and emerged with a jar of cleaner. "$15." I got home, and it was open and half used - they'd "sold" me the stuff they had lying around for their own use. Avoid this dump scam joint at ALL costs.

I went to Washington DC and went into a store Called Georgetown Fine Jewelry & Arts. The salesman showed me a Rolex Daytona watch. So I wanted to buy it he tells me the watch is sold but he can get me a new one if a couple of weeks. So he takes a deposit of $300 for the watch and says he will call me when it comes in. Well now it has been 3 years and I called them over and over all they tell me as thy can't get me the watch. So when I asked for my money back they told me the owner is dead and they can't give me back my money.
This place is a scam located in Washington DC At 1265 Wisconsin Ave, NW. And the owners name is Mike who they say is dead now but I spoke to last week.

I walked into this store while searching for an unusual engagement ring. I only needed about a minute in the store to discover that I wasn't going to find anything what I was looking for here. The store mostly carries bright yellow gold chains, necklaces and watches in conventional styles. If that's what you're looking for, you're in luck. There are heaps of them loaded onto every available space. The design of the store emphasizes quantity, not quality. The effect can be somewhat blinding since there's gold on every available surface.
