5 Stars: flower delivery boston (by mercedez r.)

The Olympia flower store is Boston is the best flower store I have ever introduced. I am really a freak of gardening and it gives me the encouragement to do this not as hobby but also as profession. Not only its product quality but also its service makes everyone pleased.

1 Stars: No Customer Help or Responsibility (by Evelyn H.)

Terribly disappointed w/staff's help & assistance when i purchased a Crepe Myrtle tree this June. They offered me very little care, help or responsibility at the DC address even though I am a long time customer. I purchased a tree & paid for it over two weeks before I could pick it up. I kept it on my open sun porch for FOUR (4) DAYS & called Johnson's. Their staff told me to plant it outdoors immediately which I did. Our building has professional garden services & they planted the tree in an existing bed with other flowers & shrubs that are doing extremely well. The tree immediately developed some type of infection; ants, black marks, yellow leaves. I called your store for support & help. No call backs until the 4th call when I insisted. At that time I wanted my money back or a change in trees. I was told that because I had the tree out on my open sun porch for 4 days Johnson would do nothing. They offered me no help for the infection, no offer to inspect the tree to see its current environment (no other plants or trees around it have this infection - I am located less than 1/2 mile from their DC location.) They treated me very badly and said it was my fault; I kept the tree on a sun porch for 4 days and that was it. AT NO TIME DID JOHNSON'S PEOPLE EVER TELL ME WHEN I PURCHASED THE TREE THAT IF I KEPT IT ON A SUNPORCH THEY WOULD NEVER HELP ME OR BE RESPONSIBILE IN ANYWAY!. In fact my conversation was I would try it & if it did not work I would plant it on the grounds of my Conn.Ave. High rise apartment building. They told me they did not think it would work but since I would plant it outside - try it!!!! Now
since it is outside it is infected & I have tried several things but nothing is working. I am very very very disappointed with Johnson's staff and customer friendly help. It seems that once you purchase a tree from Johnson's that's it - its your problem and the staff does not give a dam and will do nothing to help. .

5 Stars: Wonderful, Fresh Plants and Other Items!!! (by Karen B.)

This floral and garden center has a much larger variety of "different" flowers and gardent and lawn ornaments than any others I have visited in the past. Their ornamental items are quite lovely, unusual, quality-made, and the prices are very, very reasonable. At many other shops I have seen wilted and old looking flowers, but not here. The plants for sale always look as if they were just picked or just grown and ready to be re-planted. In addition, the staff is always friendly and of much assistance.

4 Stars: Good selection, higher prices (by Jen B.)

Most of the plants I have bought at Johnsons have survived for a very long time. Make sure you ask a lot of questions and give them as much information as possible about your room/deck/yard and they will usually give you very good advice. The pots and planters are expensive and not necessarily unique -- you could probably find them cheaper elsewhere. Be warned that it gets very busy during the spring and fall planting seasons.

PROS: Good selection, well informed staff
CONS: Prices

4 Stars: Good for corsages! (by Ross D.)

I have been to Johnsons a few times for my flowering needs as well as for corsages. I have found them on the whole to be very good. They offer a very wide variety of flowers and all the tools and fertilizers etc. that you need for planting and maintaining plants. Service is prompt and the staff are friendly. You do have to order ahead for corsages though, which can be irritating if you are in a hurry

PROS: Good selection, nice staff
CONS: not great

4 Stars: Comprehensive (by Cathy M.)

If you are looking for a comprehensive garden center where you can find plants, cut flowers and custom arrangements, small gifts, cards, tools, or the like, you will love this place! The cut flowers I have always found to be very fresh and the plants healthy. Their staff is very knowledgeable and they will assist you in finding exactly what it is you need or are looking for. Wonderful establishment!
