WOW..that sums it all up! Unbelieveable is my second choice, My wife and I desparately needed to landscape our front yard but we both no absolutely nothing about plants, grass or trees. We called around to severla landscape companies that are based in Washington DC..just wanted to be careful not to get involved with a 'fly-by-night" contractor so we were careful. We lost money once on a contractor who took our money and ran. Anyway, back to landscaping: We had 3 companies come out to give us estimates and two of them were very disappointing, I felt like I was on a used car lot being sold a bill of goods..they were not good or even interested in us at all. THEN, John showed up and on time for his appointment, which we appreciated since we have a new born and a 1 year old running around the house. John is a landscape designer with Wisteria and from the moment we opened the door and said hello..it was as if we were on one of those landscaping shows on HGTV. He wanted to get to know us, our needs and requirements and was very much wanting to work within our budget but give us a great design. I was wondering at first just why he wanted to get to know us and then it dawned on me at the very end..AHHH !! He didnt want to instll plants or bushes that needed a lot of care since we have a busy life, we definitely needed low maintenance without sacraficing the uniqueness and creativity of the over all design. Also, since we do have small children, he didnt want to install plants that couldnt take a beating when the kids grow up and start running around the yard..PLUS (and this is a BIG PLUS..he didnt want to install plants that could be dangerous to our two boys now or in the future..some plants or bushes can be poisionous to children if they swallow the berries..plus anything with thorns would be a no-no. I didnt realize just how much was invloved when you have a professional sit down, take his time (doesnt rush you for the sake of a sale) and explain the process, cost, and present a really creative design suited to our particular needs and that will last and endure so that we arent out re-landscaping in 5 years. I cant say enough about Wisteria..the crew showed up every day and on time ready to work. They were very quiet, didnt goof off, and cleaned up everyday. In fact, the only way we knew that they had been at our house that day was from the steady porgress the made on our installation..they cleaned up that well! They even removed a pile of leaves that i collected last fall. I just threw a big pile of leaves and dead branches in the lower corner of my property and figured that I would eventualy get to it. They actually saw it, went over and collected the pile and got rid of it for us. I ouldnt believe it when I came home fromwork and saw them down there removing the pile.I didnt ask them to do it and it certainly wasnt a part of the overal job. You cant buy that kind of courtesy or kindess anymore. The job went on without a hitch and we were kept well informed on a daily basis from Martin, the project crew leader and John. They wanted to make sure if we had any concerns or questions that they were there for us. The design was even more beautiful than what we knew it would be. All of our neighbors keep coming over and want to take tours..I cant wait for spring to get here because when everything blooms ..it's going to be even more spectacular. Everyone, I have to be honest here..Wisteria was a little more expensive than the other 2 landscapers but we went with them anyway. We did it at first because we felt confident in their professionlism and loved the design but we found out at the end..it was evne more than that..we received a top notch, quality design and installation process and had the privledge to work with a group of people who really, truly care about their work and have the experience and knowledge to deliver on their promises. Sometimes, as in this case, it's worth it to spend a little more to get what we got from them. The old saying:" You get what you pay for" IT's true. We are very very happy and recommend Wisteria to everyone who wants a great design, maintenance or landscaping. Take care and God Bless
