Sofitel Lafayette Square

The Hotel Sofitel in Washington DC is wonderful! I had a conference to attend in DC recently, and (luckily) my usual hotel was booked. I ended up at the Sofitel and was glad I did!

The service from the bell boy, to the front desk, to the housekeepers was outstanding. The room was spacious, comfortable, and the bathroom was unbelievable for a "standard" hotel room.

The location is great as well. Mere blocks from the White House, it is withing walking distance of many major sites--if you're in DC to see those. The concierge was also very knowledgeable about the places to see and things to do in the area.

The hotel is a little pricey, but the service they provide is far above what I have experienced elsewhere in Washington!

This hotel was a little pricey, but it was worth every cent. The bed in the room was extremely comfortable (I wanted to take it home with me, lol). The bathroom was also fabulous. The decor was great. The restaurant here had some delicious food. The staff here were friendly and the location cant be beat.
