When I stayed in Washington D.C, I usually picked up Friday's edition which includes the papaer's "Weekend" section. It's loaded with information on things to do in and around Washington. This newspaper is easy to pickup at vendor's stands and at the store at our hotel.

.

It has a large job section, other sections are pretty big as well.
Still $1.50 on Sundays and 25-50 cents for the weekdays.
Not that right-leaning as other newspapers.

PROS: big employment section, sudoku puzzle
CONS: totally color would be nice

When my husband died, his cousin's wife told me that she would take care of the obituary. She did not get it put into the newspaper till the day after his funeral and then the bill came to me.I never ordered it,now the Washington Post has the bill in collections under my name when I never placed the order.
