Vsl Hair Design

Having moved to DC from suburban New England, I was a little wary of getting my hair cut in the city, largely because of the prices (I've seen prices of nearly $60 for a hair cut and blow dry), but Michael at VSL did a wonderful job. I went in with thoroughly damaged, elbow length, split-ended hair, and stepped out with gorgeous shoulder-length, healthy locks that work wonderfully with my face shape. And for only $30, this is definitely a price I can afford every few months. I will not be going anywhere else as long as I am in the city.

Terrible experience! I am only giving it 1 star because I am forced to. My actual rating would be 0. My haircut was rushed from the beginning. I thought well maybe if they know what they are doing, then who needs a hair cut that takes hours. I was WRONG. The stylist did a horrific job on my hair, my suppose to be wispy bangs are just awkward. I wouldn't trust these stylists to cut anything more than a chia pet. STAY AWAY.

I went 3-4 times to VSL. The Hairstylists are truly excellent and I will recommend them to anybody who is a bit afraid of getting her/his hair cut!! Sylvie is wonderful, very talented!Last time, I had highlights and an haircut with Eve who is extraordinary! She is not only very talented and knowledgeable, she is also very friendly, knows what you are looking for and cares about you and your look!! I am French and I have been travelling a lot, but VSL is to me one of the best salons and Sylvie and Eve the greatest artists I have met! Eve, you deserve a five stars!!

I was referred to Eve (at VSL hair salon) by a friend and thank God!! She's a hair DR. I had the best salon experience, the very best highlights and haircut ever!! Eve really listened to me and all of my needs- (finally a stylist that gave me their undivided attention and really cared)! Who would have ever guessed my hair could really look and feel like this! The best part- she showed me how to achieve healthy, fabulous hair at home! She really knows her stuff! I highly recommend her!

I just had the best experience at VSL. I went to Eve and she was just amazing. I have never in my 30 years of living dealt with a stylist who knows so much about how to take care of hair. She takes time with you, is super friendly and does an amazing job! I LOVE my hair cut. The haircut was super affordable as well! I don't think you will be disappointed if you use Eve at VSL in Dupont!

Vsl is a really hip place to go for mens' haircuts in dupont circle. Marc has been cutting my hair for a few years now and each time I'm impressed. Men's cuts are $28. I have tried several other places, but Vsl comes out on top. They take walk in's, open 7 days a week, highly recommended.
