Great place to get your hair cut! Good price, good quality. Camillo runs the place, and he is great! Everyone seems to know Camillo, even the people that pop their heads into the shop just to say "hi" to him. Go here, you will not be dissapointed!

Camillo and several of his co-workers occupy this shop on upper Wisconsin Ave. There are usually about four or five people cutting hair at any given time -- Camillo, an older Italian gentleman, is the ringleader. Even with four or five people cutting hair, there is often a decent crowd waiting on a Friday afternoon or Saturday.

The scene here is usually pretty interesting, as most people seem to know each other - or at least Camillo - and random people will show up to visit him while he's cutting hair. He's an interesting guy and provides a good deal of entertainment while you're getting your haircut.

The staff all put a good deal of attention into haircuts and finish it off by shaving your neck area with warm shaving cream and a traditional straight razor. For an additional five or seven dollars, they'll also shave your whole face if you like. I have found that they all take their time and give an above-average haircut.

I try to go to Camillo's whenever I can make it up to Tenleytown for a haircut, and would highly recommend it to a friend.

PROS: Good haircut, friendly staff
CONS: There can be a long wait at popular times
